CARELINX often has been mistakenly described as the Uber of home care for the elderly. It's an understandable comparison as both companies offer an industry-changing platform for people to find the service they need exactly when they need it. While technology is indeed a critical component of our business, our success will ultimately be predicated on the human intervention side of our business. Quality home care cannot be delivered or managed purely through an app. Since Day One, we have been committed to choosing quality and safety over growth. We have moved deliberately slowly, making sure that every caregiver on our platform was properly screened. We also avoided marketing to families, as we wanted to rely on word-of-mouth referrals to ensure we were matching families with quality caregivers who met -- and hopefully exceeded -- their expectations. Yet without any active outreach or promotion, word of our platform has spread among caregivers across the country. In April, our nationwide caregiver network surpassed 100,000, and the enthusiastic outreach has exceeded our most optimistic expectations. Among top-flight caregivers, CareLinx is fast becoming a trusted brand and a partner with whom they want to work. CareLinx now has a significant penetration of quality caregivers in the top 50 metropolitan areas in the U.S, giving us a solid foundation to grow our business. To help foster our expansion, we are pleased to announce that two venture capital firms focused entirely on the elder care market -- Generator Ventures and Ziegler Link·Age Longevity Funds -- have made strategic investments in CareLinx. In addition to sharing our values and our commitment to senior care, we value Generator Ventures and Ziegler Link·Age as partners because of their unparalleled sophistication and knowledge of this growing market. We take exceptional pride in their endorsement of our enterprise.

Finally, CareLinx turned four in April 2015, a milestone we embarrassingly would have failed to note had a reporter not asked us last week the year and month we were founded. We are exceptionally proud of what we have accomplished to date, but we aren’t going to rest on our laurels. We expect to achieve several more exciting milestones in short order. You are going to be hearing a lot more from CareLinx in the weeks ahead as we embark on the next phase of our business.
