I knew from a young age that I wanted to care for others. I am a very passionate person when it comes to providing care for my clients. I will always advocate for my clients and their care and I take pride in doing so. I love getting to know my clients and their families being someone they can rely on to be there for them when they need it most. I've been a caregiver going on two years. I started out in a care facility and learned very quickly I wanted to be able to work with those who want to remain in their homes. I will always strive to be professional and dependable.

I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother. I am very passionate about taking care of people with disabilities or assisting the elderly in their daily living skills. One of my greatest achievements I'm proud of would be the years of service the things I've learned has definitely helped me in a loving fulfilling career.

I can truly say about myself that I've been known to expect everyone as they are. I have always been able to adapt to almost everyone's personality and character. As well as caring for one's needs or taking into consideration their feelings. I whole heartedly try to treat others as I would want them to treat me. Across my life experiences with caregiving. I have had the opportunity to work with very respectful human beings in which needed my care, my patience, my honesty and my trustworthiness. I've been attracted to caregiving because it gives me opportunity to care for people who are in need. Even if it is just companionship they are needing. What I enjoy most about caregiving is being able to help someone get through their day. Whatever the challenge may be!

I'm very compassionate and patient. I've previous experience taking care of my brother who suffered from muscular dystrophy since he was 8-20. I've been granted a citizenship award in high school for my efforts with him. I want to help impact peoples lives for the better, and I believe that i would be well suited for this position. A smile is worth a thousand words and if I can help peoples lives a little less difficult and make them smile, I feel as though I've done a good job.

I've personally been assisting or caring for small children up to senior citizens since high school. I've have experience as a pharmacy technician, medical caregiver aide, and home health aide. I have always had the natural personality to help and care for others. I'm always going above and beyond to assist other's needs and being helpful with any task. I enjoy learning new challenges and pride myself in being a "jack of all trades".

I fully understand and willing accept the responsibilities to be caregiver, despite knowing that the expectations are pretty high. I believe Caregiving can take both physical and psychological tolls on anyone.As a Caregiver, I am willing to take the struggle out of the everyday routine, eliminate challenges and boost independence. The companionship, the feeling of being needed , and the love shared between the patient and caregiver will be something to remember. During my training as a student nurse , I can use my clinical & practical skills and Knowledge to help in activities or goals such as caring for the elderly or patients with certain disabilities or need special medical care and attention , duties such as assisting with personal care , Basic food preparation, General health care, Mobility assistance , Personal supervision, Transportation ( such as mobility in wheel chair) Emotional support, Home organization and light house duties and Health monitoring.

My name is Sherlean Glasgow I am a hard worker and willing to learn new things

I love being a care giver and helping people. It makes me feel good to know I am making a difference in someone's life. Helping people is what I want to everyday I wake up. I work hard to make sure each individual is token care of in the upmost care. My goals is to provide the preferred care that the person or family needs. I want to care for them in their way not mines. I want them to feel comfortable and safe at all times with me. I have been in the healthcare field since I graduated high school because this I what I love to do. I am continuing my education at the present moment still in the health care field by getting my bachelors in Science in Nursing. This is my way of making sure I continue to help people as long as I can and make a difference in someone's life.

Growing up my grandma was a nurse and my other one had diabetes. I grew up caring for people my whole life. Once I lost my grandma to diabetes I became more interested in taking care of people. I am currently a CNA, still in school to become a LPN. I have CPR license as well.

I'm proud to be a CNA because I positively impact the lives of others every day; I give of myself so that others may live. Working closely with others knowing that I can help their days go by smoother is what I live for.
