Being a caregiver takes alot of patience and alot of respect. I started being a caregiver because I believe the elderly are so wise, they have so much to say. As a health care worker I have 5 years experience, I am also a CNA/Caregiver. I recently graduated from an LVN/LPN nursing program. I went into the healthcare field to care for people and bring them joy and happiness.

Why I became a caregiver, since very young I've cared for the elderly. My grandparents were the reason why I grew to love caregiving, they become so fragile and cant do all they would like to be able to do as they did when they were once healthy with strength. I have always loved working with people. I have experience working in nursing homes, hospital and also cared for my grandmother before she died. Towards the end of her life , she had Alzheimer's and required extensive care. The opportunity to continue working in the care-giving field is exciting for me. My personal achievement was when I saved the life of my client when she was choking on a piece of almond. I was scared for her life, but I managed to keep calm and help her out.
