YEARS AGO I WAS A CNA. I STARTED A DIFFERENT CAREER AFTER I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE.WHEN MY PARENTS BECAME STRICKEN WITH CANCER I QUIT MY JOB AND TOOK CARE OF THEM FOR 10 YEARS. THEY NOW HAVE PASSED ON. I THEN STARTED TO DO CAREGIVING FOR A COUPLE OF AGENCIES. I HAVE ALSO ATTENDED CLASSES TO RENEW MY CNA LICENSE, WHICH I CURRENTLY HOLD. I ALSO HAVE A CERTIFICATE IN CPR. I HAVE WORKED WITH HOSPICE, ALZHEIMER, AND STROKE PATIENTS. I'VE WORKED IN-HOME 24 HR. SHIFTS AS WELL AS 12 HR. SHIFTS AM AND PM. I AM ABLE TO COMMUTE FROM LODI, CA TO SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING STOCKTON, SACRAMENTO, MODESTO, AND TRACY.

My 7 years of experience has taught me a great deal working with seniors. I have developed strong communication and problem solving skills over the years. I am fulfilled when my client is happy with my services. Over the years, I have worked in adult day programs, respite care, convalescent homes, and in-home support. One of the things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making sure the client needs are met and putting a smile on there face.

I realized then that I enjoy helping others fulfill daily needs that they may not be able to fulfill alone.
