I have cared for my grandpa, nannied for many families, and found a passion for caregiving. Because I seek fulfillment from a career, I want to truly make a positive change in peoples lives which caregiving gives me. My name is Katie. I am 23 years old. I love being a care giver. I have lots of experience in taking care of elders. I have a 83 year old grandfather. I have been taking care of him for 5 years now. I cook, clean, give him a bath, go grocery shopping for him, wash, fold and put away his laundry, I give him his medicine and make sure he has everything he needs. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is helping my elders who need my help the most. Knowing they are taking care of puts a big smile on my face. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being there for my elders when they need me. Doesn't matter if it's friends or family. You can count on me.
