I became a Caregiver because I love helping others who need help. I like that I can set my own hours around the Recipient and that I am helping others. I am proud that I have always gotten positive feedback from my clients. I am a mother of one son and I have been married for 26 years. My husband and I own our own trucking business and I work as a Caregiver also.

With over a decade in public health service, I've assisted and cared people from all walks of life. Being a caregiver gives the ability to make a difference in the lives of others, which I enjoy. I believe one of our core duties as able-bodied people is to help those who are unable to help themselves, while treating each individual with the utmost respect as a human being. I pride myself in adapting to various environments and situations and look forward to a new opportunity with you.

I'm a caring, passionate person that love for all to be well taken care of to the best of my ability. I take pride in knowing that my client feel good and is treated like family.

I feel that I would be a good caregiver because I am kind and compassionate and it is easy for me to work with people. I became a caregiver when a family member was disabled and was in need of care and saw that there is a real need for this to help others. What I liked about caregiving is that what I did to help others really gave them a better quality of life and helps them kept there ability to stay at home.

What make me a great care giver is that I truly love helping people see that they still have some independence and offering the care that it take to always make today better than yesterday for them because I truly do care about the quality of life for everyone, I became a care giver because I witnessed my sister in a situation that she needed care and it was just adequate and she was never happy and felt that she had no value, I took over and change her routine and she was back to being the happy smiley person that I knew, . My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is when a friend/coworker of my daughter had suddenly found herself taking care of 5 grandchildren that she did not want the responsible for and after their mother passed away she found herself with 5 additional children out side of her own three, she wanted them placed in the system and they were going to be separated and I just couldn't see that happen to them so I stepped in and was awarded custody of the five and stood by them and daily had reports from their teachers on how much of a positive change they had and they now had structure and they truly did love me and as well I them, it is most memorable to me because the ages were 03,06, 07, 09, and 13 years of age, The tree year old had school at home with Dora and had to participate with all the activity's with the program, he wanted to go to school so he was up and dressed with everyone else and after we walked the siblings to school then his

I became a caregiver to care for my sister on the weekends and evenings, my sister is a stroke victim, she's paralyzed on her left side, I was assisting her with bathing, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, housecleaning, which I enjoyed helping her do, I realized my natural gift is to care for those in need, even though I currently work fulltime for the state of california in the Unemployment Dept, my passion is truly caring for others. I am proud of my personal achievement as a mother watching my children grow into responisble young men is the best achievement I have ever accomplished. I am a single mom of two boys 12yrs old & 9yrs old, and we attend Fellowship of Monrovia Church, which we enjoy every sunday and their life groups during the week, and I recently signed up to volunteer with their passion care group to prayer for those that are sick, and help with clothing and encouraging words & cards to help uplift those that are feeling down & out.

I am an retired CNA who was sent all over because I had a car. After a year driving more than nursing, I gave up! I like helping disabled fellow seniors but I have junked my old car and take the bus everywhere!

I am a honest lady and I take my job very seriously . I am a Christian woman I have been married for a while and I have grandchildren as far as being a caregiver I've been a caregiver over 25 years and I do have compassion for the people that I work for

I became a caregiver when my eldest brother had a massive stroke 7 years ago. He is now living independently. I enjoying caring for people and assisting them with daily necessities of Life.

What makes me a great caregiver is kindness,patience and the ability not judge the person for who they once were but who they are now.

I have 6 years as a caregiver in the Home Support Agency. I have been able to provide companionship, personal care, and home help. For many years, I have assisted my clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting. When needed, I also have taken them to medical appointments. Performing light house work, such as dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, etc. I contributed to making a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life. If there is a significant change in the client's need and living conditions, I also report to their love ones so that we are able to provide the client with high quality of life. I have the ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect. I am also bilingual so if my client needs translation for any given reason, I am able to provide her/him with that.

I am a great caregiver because I sincerely care about the well being of others and I enjoy fulfilling the needs of those who need care and assistance. I have experience caring for people in need of personal care: a gentleman with lung cancer and COPD, a man with bipolar and schizophrenia and diabetes, a woman with breast cancer and diabetes, two women with Alzheimer's/dementia. I also have much experience as an educator for students of all ages, teaching reading, writing, history and study skills. A personal achievement I am proud of is caring for my father until he passed away in a way that he experienced joy and laughter.

I cared for a gentleman who is a quadrapeligic . I learned so much working for him. Patience, caring and most of all how to be a good companion. I also cared for my mother when she became ill and it was an honor to do so. I am very patient and compassionate ( I have 6 children) so those 2 qualities are really important!
