Hi my name is Mayra I believe I would be a excellent caregiver because I have major experience and I never had issues in my life, everyone I worked with liked me I'm very patient and extra careful with my clients. What attracts me to be a caregiver is the way they see me it's priceless and how they become like family to me I love being a caregiver not only cause I love the job but it gives me experience for my family on the long run. Some of my personal achievements is me being so proud of my jobs always recognized my work.

I always do my best to give quality of care to any and all of my clients. At age 18 I received my certifications as a CNA/HHA and my EMT . I worked at a local hospital for over 15 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I've currently been working with individuals with different disabilities, such as autism , non verbal and verbal, IDD etc. Which I truly enjoy. Im also a really good housekeeper , which I consider a bonus. Im a really hard worker and take pride in my job. However due to my own medical conditions im unable to do super heavy lifting , but I manage just fine with groceries , waters.. and individuals who are mobile but require minimum assistance. My God children are getting much older now. So I need to start trying to save up for their college funds. I've always taught them young, about believing in themselves and the importance of attending college. So it's important that I do my best to start saving now, to help towards their education. My main job is Mon-Friday in the Ams. I will be available to work a few hours after I get out of work around 3 p.m. Except Weds I work till 6pm. I m also willing to interview as an emergency fill in. I am from the Philippines but I've been here in the U.S. for almost 20 years. In the country were I grew up, we have no nursing homes nor assisted living facilities, therefore we have to take in our elderly and take care of them and that's how care giving comes so naturally to me. Being able to help someone and improve their quality of life, makes me happy. I am 44 years old, very passionate on what I do and would always go extra miles to meet the needs of the individuals.

I am a licensed CNA and currently working as a mentor to people with developmental and physical disabilities. When I was 12 years old my grandma was diagnosed with ALS and I helped care for her until she passed, that experience led me on to become a CNA and commit to helping those in need with every day living. I'm very open-minded and compassionate.

I am very passionate about my work. I put my all into everything thing I do. I became a caregiver because I love to help others who are in need. I like to see the my clients progress in there activities in daily living.

I am a caring person who can provide helpful services to your loved one. I can assist with personal or companion care, as well as run errands/transportation and do light housekeeping. I am patient, loving and a great listener. I enjoy helping people who cannot take care of themselves. It is important for everyone to feel like they have control of their lives and if I can help them regain some of that control, I am doing my job effectively. Everyone needs help at some time in their life, but they don't always have someone to count on to fill that need. I can be that person for your loved one...I can take care of them just like you would if you were there. I am diabetic, so have experience taking care of other diabetics and cooking healthy meals for them. I help my parents all the time with their household needs and grocery shopping, which makes me feel like I am giving a little back for all the work they did taking care of me while I was growing up.

I first became a caregiver with my daughter, who was disabled from birth and I took care of her all her life. I also worked for California Mentor for about 2 years..... these clients lived with me at that time.... I have worked with private clients assisting with bathing, meds, preparing meals and light housekeeping. I love the work and would love to have the chance to again work in this profession.

I possess great communication skills, patience, compassionate in providing a safe living environment, attentive, dependable, and trustworthy. I became a caregiver mainly because it was a field I can take care of others in time in need. I t gave me the capability to utilize my caring skills for others. The title caregiver gives me the sense that a good sense that somebody is in good hands using professionalism, flexibility, determination, also open heart. I found a worked with a good friend and kept it professional with my patient I worked with for ten years. We did a lot of things keeping the friendship alive. Since we liked the same movies, we went to the movies a lot. We liked almost the same foods, and we went out to eat a lot. We both like to go fishing also he would like to talk about his past, about family, old friends. I got to know him better over the years. I myself am a family man, I love to be around my family, even on my days off. I also focus on out door sports to keep myself busy, when I'm not around my family.

I have a 30+ years history of caregiving . My daughter was quadraplegic and brain damaged after an open heart surgery at 3 and a half years of age. I bathed ,carried, and tube fed her for almost 20 years. I worked caring for nursing home, bed ridden, and home bound patients either in recovery or in the end of life situations. I have also just helped elderly people do home tasks, meal prep, and household chores. My services are an exemple of dedication, knowledge, and compassion.

What makes me a great caregiver is the love that I put into my job. I will treat all of my clients as if they where my own family members and always make sure at the end of day, I leave them with. I have been caring for people since I was 16 years old. I used to help my mother (also a caregiver) care for my great grandmother until the time the family decided to put her into a home. Since then I knew that caring for others was in my blood. What makes me love this job the most is the wisdom that is shared upon me and my clients. I can not stress how much of my clients stories and experience has helped me grow in the world in such a positive way. My clients don't just gain help from me, but I too gain something from them as well. WISDOM.

I'm very honest, understanding and hard working. I love being a caregiver because I can help others and I love doing that. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is making memories with my clients.
