I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I love my job as a caregiver because when I was little I spent most of my life with my grandmothers from my both parents. I lLoved them and they Loved me so much that it created a special bond in my heart with the elderly and the need to help them manage their daily life more Comfortable. My natural ability to help combined with Caregiving Career skills makes me feel confident with my job and i have gained al lot experience over past 10 years Therefore I can give the best care to any patients or residents who need my help regardless their age or condition if Iam given the opportunity

I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .

Hello my name is Sandra, and I was born in Accra, Ghana. I love taking care of children and the elderly, and have loved working with them even before my first child was born in my 20's. I believe that those of old age still have a lot to offer the world, and have worked with multiple agencies throughout the last decade to help. I have been a CNA for about 12 years now, and my most memorable experience is caring for a man a couple years back, who never wanted me to leave when my shift is up, I always loved seeing the excited look on his face whenever I came to his home every morning to begin the day and never once saw my shift as a job, because it was simply enjoyable.

I'm a compassionate, caring, loving person. I am patient centered and strongly believe in accountability, integrity and dependability. I became a caregiver because I was raised by my grandmother who was a registered nurse and midwife. She was a great nurse and left lasting impression in the lives of all that she meets. Down to this day after 21 years of her passing we still get compliments from those she helped and cared for. This moved me to follow in her footsteps and show the same amount of love, support and care for others. I enjoy connecting with my residents, been of service to them and supporting them in their times of need. I feel satisfied and rewarded for serving others. My mum got an accident many years ago, she couldn't walk or speak. She had no one to take care of her. I took care of her for more than one year. That's how i learned and i loved to take care of people and i decided to be a caregiver. I am very passionate concerning care giving. I am a dynamic and enthusiastic caregiver. As a care giver, my motivation and what i love the most is giving a smile to a client. I used to take care of many client and i always give them the smile.
