Expertise in areas like healthcare, child development, or senior care can also be valuable,and problems solving I attracted to being caregivers for various reasons. Some are naturally drawn to helping others and find fulfillment in providing support. I'm enjoy the sense of purpose that comes from helping those in need. The bonds formed with the people i care for and the satisfaction of making a positive impact on someone's life are often rewarding aspects. achieving a certification or degree in a relevant field, receiving recognition for outstanding care, or helping a client achieve significant progress in their health and well-being.

Hi, my name is Jayvonna Winn I have a M.A Psych degree and have been a caregiver for children and adults for over 15 years. I enjoy most about caregiver is the enrichments in helping individual acheive their goals and become more self reliant. What attracted me to be a caregiver is that in order to be a great in this field you must have patience, compassion and respect fo the individual served. I emcompass these traits as well as have a strong understanding of emotional intelligence. Working together as a team with the family and the individual we can accomplish anything.

I have 10+ years of experience. I am a certified medical assistant and nursing assistant. Ive worked in both the home care, hospital, doctor office, and group home settings. I have experience with companionship, mealplanning and prep, light house keeping, shopping and errands, medication reminders, bathing assistance (bed, shower, bath), dressing assistance, toileting assistance, eating assistance, ambulation assistance. I also have experience with alzheimer's, dementia, MS, and cerebral palsy. Long before entering the medical field i took care of my late grandmother and that is where i fell inlove with the profession. Caring for others is not just a job for me. It is what i love and i enjoy doing so.

I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others in need and try and help some one else be happy and accomplish the things that they want to do. What i like about being a caregiver is that you can watch the progression of someone else and see how your hard work is paying off and feel that since of joy. A personal achievement of mine is when i had got an article published about me on the internet about my Dj'in skills and accomplishments. I am 25yrs old, im a senior in college looking to graduate in may of 2015 with my degree in recreation & leisure management. Im also a Dj i have been doing that since 2007. i am currently looking to re-locate to Los Angeles for more of an opportunity in the things i want to do. I am very outgoing, funny and hard working.

I am 29 years old and I have always been a caregiver. Every job I have ever held required caring for individuals who needed extra support. I am a caregiver because I developed a love for the field at a very young age. I come from a long line of caregivers, the most influential being my grandmother. As a nurse she cared for strangers all day and then she would come home and care for her ailing mother, one son who had special needs and intellectual disabilities and another who had a terminal illness. Everyday that I advocate for the people I support, I think of that strength. I also carry with me the empathy of being the family member of someone who requires such care; I care for my clients that compassion. I genuinely love my career, nothing makes my day greater than finding new ways to care, support, and advocate for my clients. I am proud that I chose a field that I love, other than one based on monetary gain.
