I have 8 years experience working in the care industry and have developed a compassionate approach. I work hard to get to know my clients, so I can help them enjoy their interests and hobbies . I enjoy listening to older people, I am a very patient person and am always happy to work at my clients pace. I am experienced in personal grooming and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support.

I became a caregiver because I love helping seniors when they are no longer able to help themselves. My saying is we all will become elderly someday and may also need help. I like the fact that a caregiver gives the elderly a sense of peace of mind while being in the confinement of their own home. I'm able to possibly keep an elderly person from going into nursing home. My person achievement is obtaining my AA degree. I'm a caring person willing to work hard and always give 110% at what I do.

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, CPR certified, trach,g-tube, cecostomy and vent experience. I went back to school in my mid forties to become a Medical Assistant, after graduating I decided to go back and become an LPN, I love taking care of others. I worked in an assisted living facility for mentally and physically challenged adults prior to nursing school, that job is what made me realize it's never too late to reach out and grab my dream. Since I was 13 years old I've wanted to be a Nurse, at the age of 47 I finally was able to make that dream come true. I currently work as a private duty nurse. I can work 8 or 10 hr shifts, experience with medication planning and administration.

What Makes me a great caregiver is that I have patients and Im dedicated to my people. Im a people person love meeting new people and helping others that are in need. What attracted me to be a caregiver was seeing the passion my mom had doing it over 25yrs and seeing all the nice people she took care of. Im proud to be able to have this opportunity and being able to go to school to further my career.

I enjoy helping people and like to make their day go by better with services they cannot provide for themselves. It gives me pleasure to see how happy I make people with the services that I can provide for them.

I'm 24 years old I have 2 small children. My personality traits are patience compassion attentiveness trustworthiness. I want to become a nurse so I wanted to start somewhere and work my way up helping others makes me happy. I enjoy the company of my clients the talks we have they always encourage me to keep going and don't give up.

I first decided to become a caregiver when my husband was diagnosed with Als. I knew first hand what it's like caring for someone so I wanted to help others. I have experience with trach/ventilation, feeding tubes, dd individuals and every day living care.

I went to Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, Ga and became a certified nursing assistant. I've worked in nursing homes, home health, group homes, assisted living facilities, and for the past 5 years have been working in the hospital. I really enjoy bonding and caring for patients and just being there in their times of need. My ultimate goal is to go back to school for nursing.

I feel that I'm a great caregiver because I have many family members who need care due to age, mental illness, developmental disabilities, etc. I think about they type of care my family wants provided for those family members and do my best to provide that and more for my clients. I have been a caregiver most of my life, because of my family members, but professionally for about a year. I have loved working with clients of all backgrounds and special needs and have chose to continue to do this even after relocation. My last clients was dual diagnosed and needed a lot of attention and care. Coming into the situation I did a lot of listening to the people who knew her best and then connected with her as time went on. The joy I feel when I'm getting to care for someone is indescribable, because so many of my family members need care I have seen first hand what good caregivers and provide for these individuals and I strive to do that for my clients.

A good caregiver is attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner. A patient, especially the elderly, needs constant care and attention. As a compassionate caregiver I possess a powerful desire to help others, especially dealing with the elderly they are so inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship. This is why I love doing this job.
