A great caregiver is a person who sincerely cares for people in general no matter their circumstance. It is called unconditional love and compassion. Caring for those in need is very special and dear to my heart, as I hope there will be someone to care for me if ever needed. I take my job serious, and believe that every individual should be treated with dignity and respect.

I have been a caregiver for over 15yrs, an I became a caregiver because I believe it is my calling to help people. I love what I do, it is so fullfling to know that I am helping to ease the burden and load that my be simple for me and Extremly hard for a senior or disabled person. I have achieved great leadership skills an time management skills as well as many hours of training and classes to stay abroad on current rules. I would love to one day further my expertise and become a RN.

I love helping people. I became a caregiver so that I could feel like I am making a difference in someones life. I enjoy helping clients maintain their independence. It gives me a sense of belonging. Helping people is my calling. I became a PCT in 2003 and I have worked in the field for the past 9 years. For that I am proud. I am a skilled caregiver. I take pride in knowing that I can help make someone else's life better.

I really enyoy providing emotional support and assistance in daily care to my patients. I enjoy going to different homes and meeting different families. I assist clients in bathing, dressing, preparing food, complex dressings, tube feedings, bowel programs, suctioning, positioning and catherizing.

For the past 15 years I have always worked ast a CNA/PCT. It is what I believe in. My mom passed away many years ago and I believe its my calling. I was not there when she passed and I guess out of guilt this is my way to help. I want to give back to people who needs help, I know I will one day be in there shoe and I would like to know there will be someone like my self out there willing, able and capable of provide the care I may one day need. I loved my mom dearly and I know one day I will be like most of these patients will want help. This is the road the Lord as lead me on. I have always been a very caring, concerned and loving person. I enjoy helping no matter what it takes, I like talking, cleaning, running errands and reminding my patients of daily activities they need to do that will encourage them to each goals for a healthy way of living. For me, my personal achievement is never letting down my patients, that means being on time when reporting to work, and growing personal communication helps as well.

I became a caregiver after my mother passed away that's when I realized how important it is to put a smile on some face by bring there for their needs.
