I've been in the Healthcare field for about 7.5 years. I enjoy providing care for individuals who aren't able to do everyday tasks as myself. I love to promote independence regardless of a persons level of functioning. I'm always there to asssist, not take control. My availability is 5 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun) I'm unavailable on Tues & Thurs.

My decision to become a caregiver was clear to me as I watch my own parents age gracefully. So I made a huge change in my career to help take care of others. It has been one of the most rewarding changes I've ever done.

My primary personality trait in dealing with people is patience. I love to hear seniors share their life and experiences. And I am a good listener. I realized that I had a knack for caring for seniors while I was primary caregiver for my own mother for 10 years. After she passed away and I needed income as a single parent and Biblical Counseling student, I realized that my years as my mother's caregiver had given me valuable on-the-job training that I could utilize to help others. Because of my genuine love for people, I enjoy listening to and communicating with seniors. I especially cherish opportunities to learn about life from the vantage point of a senior's perspective and experience. I cared for my mother from the inception of her Alzheimer's until she passed away some 10 years later. I recently cared for a dear friend's mother for 6 months who was suffering from pancreatic cancer. And for the last 18 months I have and am currently caring for another friend's mother who is 89 years old. I have been able to assist these ladies through difficult health and emotional situations with finesse.

I BEEN TAKING CARE SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED PEOPLE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, I WAS A (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant, I took 5 years off to stay home to care for my 2 nieces that lost their mother from a illness now I looking for work to help other family that need help.

Because I am the best caregiver I love helping other's in needed that can't help there self we are on this earth to help each other. Be good and kind love one another that's why God put us on earth my heart is big and I'm funny happy not all the time but most of the time I'm happy because God is good all the time.

Looking for a client or patient I can give my all to, Far as providing service such as medication reminders, bathing, grooming, errands, escort service, cooking, cleaning, and whatever the client desire. I love to help others that need just a little more push than others. Making and seeing them smile still enjoy there life comfortable on a daily basic. Companionship is a must relating to one another on an daily basic. Knowing that they are getting treated with the up most respect and attention that they may desire. Overrall I enjoy doing my job i have three years of experience.

I became a caregiver because I realized how many elders don't have a support system. I figured that I could be the support that they needed.
