What makes ,e a great caregiver is I have the heart an compashion to make someone happy by giving them great compaionship with respect. I became a caregiver to make an differnce in different lives that I become in counter with, I too do for myself I think it helps me become a better person. To know I can care for others tells me I have a blessing form god. What I love about it learning new things, people, an how I can make a difference in these families lives. what my most personal achievement is that I'm very proud of is graduating college to be a massage therapist.

I am a 38 year old mother of 4 who has been a CNA since 1999. I have experience with Alzheimer's patients, elderly patients, I have also worked with patients,with mental as well as physical disabilities. I am a very hard,worker I'm easy to get to know and get along with.

I always wanted to become a caregiver since I was a little girl because I grew up with a disabled mom. Ever since I can remember I helped take care of her in anyway I possibly could! Also because I always cared so much about others, wanting to help, and to bring them happiness! I love most parts of caregiving, but three major things I love about being a caregiver is I know I'm helping someone in need, I get to bring them joy in apart of their life that isn't always easy to deal with, and I get to help their families also! I feel I am a great caregiver for many reason, but mainly because I genuinely care about my patient and their families as my own. I will do everything I can to make sure they are healthy. That they feel safe, happy, comfortable, and secure with me. I don't look at this as a job, I look at each patient as a friend/family. I build trust and bonds with my patients and their families! I've taken many classes, done a lot of studying, and training on my own just to make sure I am able to give the best care possible! I've spent countless hours at hospitals, doctors, and physical therapy places to learn my patients needs so they could come home if I didn't already know! I've been blessed to have a lot of training from other health care professionals to keep myself fresh. I will do everything I can to make sure I can keep my patient out of nursing homes and hospitals if the treatment and care can be done from home! I always want to make sure also that the family feels safe with me caring for their loved one. Often times families are forgotten when a loved one needs a caregiver so if I can help the family in anyway I want to do that also! Caregiving and helping others is truly my passion in life!

I have worked in the medical field for over 23 years. The last 15 years I have done home health. Well experience with ventilators.

Mother of 3 grown children Took care of my Mom the last 2 years of her life. She had brain cancer. Took care of my neighbor for a few years when he had Alzheimers. I am compassionate and I love older people especially because of all that can be learned from them. I honour their vulnerablility with love and understanding.

I like helping people keep their dignity and stay in their homes where they are most comfortable. I can do everything from personal care,errands,cooking and cleaning. I like to develop a close relationship with clients so they trust and depend on my dependability.

I started out as a dietary aid at a living assistant community, I would help out the C.N.A's when they were shorthanded; helping patient to the restroom and to dinner. The girls would tell me that, I should go to school to be a nurse’s aide because; I had the attitude, patience and the heart to work with people. So I started to work with patients who had Alzheimer’s and dementia and, I loved the atmosphere, generally helping people and listening to their stories. My childhood dream was to become a nurse and, that's what I wanted to do work with people. Some of my personal achievement are, my two son's bringing them into this world will be the greatest thing I will ever do in my life also; marring my husband it's always a grand achievement to find that special someone and, share your life with them. Growing up I had three goals and they were to be a, Teacher, Nurse and Veterinarian. I had the chance to go to school and receive my Certification as an Assistant Nurse and I had the chance to, go back to school to get my associate degree in teaching; I also have decided to go back and obtain my degree as a Registered Nurse. I think in life if you have the privilege and determination to follow every dream or goal you have then, go for it.

I'am compassionate, trustworthy, honest, loving and genuine. I became a Caregiver because I am extremely interested in helping the needy. I enjoy my work and I need this kind of personal contact. I am very proud of my work history and my work ethics, I've continued to grow and learn from all of my experiences.

I have over 8 years experience in the health field with most of my experience being in a clinical setting and also in home health. I received my CNA certificate in 2004 and moved forward in the medical field successfully completing a medical assisting course in 2006. After working as a medical assistant for several years I went and enrolled to become a Phlebotomy Technician in 2013 successfully completing that course as well. I have been working in home health since 2013 with home health agencies as well as with the State of Illinois as a (PA)Personal Assistant caring for patients. However, my job with the State of Illinois is only when they have a case for me which makes me pretty flexible. I am also CPR and AED certified. Most Importantly and above all else I Love what I do. Caring for people is my passion. I give the care that I would want given to me or my loved one.

I am a believer of God. I believe that all people should be respected and cared for with empathy no matter race, religion or age. My mother, brother and my father needed my assistance and care at one time or another and I was the only one to provide that care. I like seeing the joy in their faces or eyes when they received the necessary. Seeing my father thru is illness until his passing. I wanted to at least get his to 80 yrs old; we made until he was 85 yrs old.

I am who I am know and raised family and beautiful, helped more than 30 people to bring them to this country and save them from danger.

I Brenda Johnson has always had a heart for people. Growing up in a big family that in the real of it all, i lost my mom to cancer at the age of 9. After coming out of school, noticing that if i ever had a chance to help someone that needs care i would be the person to step in to help in anyway or faction. I took a class in the state of Illinois so i could be good at knowing,respecting,and caring for loved one no matter where i my go. The most important thing in this type of job is the love that goes with the job. I am very flexible, my responsibility level is at its best. I am a very dependable person night or day, when it comes to my job i am always open. I have always filled in when i am needed even my off days. I wanted to add that there is not a job in this field that i would not try to succeed doing. With saying all of these things i come highly recommended from the state of Illinois with paper work to back me from the class i passed to become a caregiver.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE THIS IS MY PASSION. I TOOK CARE OF MY BEAUTIFUL MOM AND MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER WHO HAD SPECIAL NEEDS. MOM WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER'S , THE THREE OF US LIVED TOGETHER. I WAS HONORED TO DO IT !!! WE LAUGHED EVERY SINGLE DAY,LAUGHTER IS MEDICINE. MOM PASSED IN OCT. 2014, MY DAUGHTER PASSED IN FEB. 2015. MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. NO MATTER HOW FAR GONE A PERSON IS MENTALLY ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY WILL RESPOND TO LOVE, THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR !!!!! TOOK CARE OF MOM FOR ABOUT 8 YRS, AND MY NIECE WHOM I ADOPTED WAS WITH ME FOR 18 YRS. I DIDN'T SEE IT AS WORK, IF I COULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, I WOULD, NO REGRETS AT ALL. I MISS MY BABY AND MY MOM SOOOO MUCH. I'M A KEEPER, I'M NOT BRAGGING ON ME BUT I AM BRAGGING ON GOD. IT IS MY HEART'S DESIRE TO BRING JOY INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE. MY MOTTO IN LIFE IS IF I CAN HELP SOMEBODY THEN MY LIVING SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN. IT IS AN HONOR TO SERVE SOMEONE IN NEED !!

I'm a great caregiver because I generally care 4 people. I became a caregiver because a good friend of mine needed help with her client. Little did I know at the time that I was hired that I get more can I ever give. I love to personalize to care to my client.
