I Became a caregiver because I love to care for and take care of people. Also It feels good knowing that they really appreciate what you do for them. Also the sole reason I became caregiver is because I grew up around my aunt who had c/p and could never walk. I always admired her caregivers and after she passed it really gave me the motivation to help others as my aunt was. also my proudest achievement so far is coming from a rough situation and working to pay for my CNA certification and now also getting ready to enroll In nursing school!! I am a very caring loving person. I love nature and love being around people and learning new things. Also I have a 2 year old daughter to care for other then work or school she is who I spend most time with. I love the emotional connection you make with your patients. the way I see it is it is not about the money it is about the experience and making a connection with someone. I love my career choice in every way shape and form I look forward to going to work!

I came a caregiver because I like that fact I'm helping someone else rather just caring about me. I've always took care of people. It started off when I was 18 when I was caring for my Ill grandmother. I took care of her for 2 year's, before she left. Then I started working with kid's which was fun as well. I like taking care of others, because I always say to myself what if this was my loved one,so I always try to make anyone in my care as if they are my family. So as the the year's went by I decided to better myself and go to school for medical assisting. I graduated. I'm currently working in a care home. While working there,I've been sent to classes for my CPR and First Aid;as well as being a certified med passer,through Gtube,oral. I love people, and I want to believe people love me. I value my family above all aspects of life. Without them I wouldn't be who I am today.

I am an artists with a lot of passions in life. I enjoy hiking, ballroom and salsa dancing, skiing, fishing, gardening, nature, games, music, photography, plays and musicals. I am getting close to my BA in fine arts. I really enjoyed Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, Ethics, Biology, in fact I love College. I love all animals! After breast cancer and other life hardships, I have realized the important things in life are about people, relationships and love. Because of this I have done well as a caregiver. With each new person I look for what helps make them feel safe and secure along with what they look forward each day. Also I pay attention to when to be quiet, when to give them their quiet time, when to listen. I love to bring smiles and laughter and I love to love. Domestic: I do not do a sloppy job in cleaning and don't mind yard work or poop scooping. I have knowledge of healthy cooking and can follow any recipe. My name is raymond winters. I am 19 years old. I am a very compassionate caregiver. I have dealt with several kinds of patients including the elderly and the mentally challenged. I am very dedicated and i create a great companionship with my patients. My relationships with my past patients have always went very well. Ive created many great friendships with them. I am very prompt and responsible when it comings to meal prep and medication preparation. I keep a good schedule on bathing and excercising. Communication and companionship is key when im caring for another persons loved one. I have 2 years experience. I gained experience from my last job at rescare caring for the mentally disabled in a home and i currently take care of my grandmother whom is ill will cancer. I have been taking care of her the past two years.

I have been providing care for people from all walks of life for past 12 years. Around the year of 2013 was when I really got in depth with field. I got offered a position a Direct Support Staff, where I actually got to assist mentally disabled adults with basic daily living activities to include: Toileting, bathing, medication intake, outdoor activities escorts to and from doctor appointments, assisting them in bed, reading stories. Anything the residents needed, i was there. It was such a delight. I would love the oppurtunity to do it all over again.

I love being a caregiver because it gives me joy to be able to assist those in need. My greatest accomplishment as a caregiver would have to be to provide the best quality of life to my clients. I enjoy making them happy and seeing their faces light up with inspiration when im able to make a difference in their life and make them feel like they are beautiful people. The best thing about the caregiving opportunity would have to be when I see my clients expressing themselves as the magnificent individuals they always will be.

I just started caregiving in July. I really love helping out and trying to provide good company for each client. I kind of I already knew what to do when it comes to caregiving because I had to take care of my grandpa in the hospital before him passing. It's such a great experience too.

I became a caregiver because at the age of 21 I became a mother to a child with a disability (Down's Syndrome) and he he a lot of medical problems and needed medical care once he came home so I went to school and got my CNA in the state of NJ. Over the past 15 years I have worked in long term care facilities, assistant living facilities as well as hospitals and client's homes.
