I have a passion for helping people who are in a need of assistance. I want to show people that I love what I do. I get to interact in a conversation with the patient. I want them to know how much I care and appreciate them.

I always ensure that I get a job done, I learn very quickly and adjust to how things are done. I am very creative and interactive which describe my leadership and team working capabilities. I am reliable, dependable and hard working. I have experience and training. I am good with people and willing to learn and try new things. I love working with people and helping to fulfill their potential. I have great people skills and I have great customer service skills. I have years of experience in the open position. I'm a leader. I take charge of any situation but also allow others to shine. I'm very neat, organized and reliable. To get the job done you can depend on me. I'm a quick learner I always have a positive attitude and I'm very content at everything I do. Assisted with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing of patients. Handled and emptied bags, urinals, and bedpans collected urine and stool specimens as directed served meals and assisted patients that required help with feeding. Assisted in moving and lifting patients with limited mobility, and assisted with ambulation assisted residents with activities of daily living made beds, and changed linens. Monitored and recorded vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Followed procedures for disease and infection control. Performed head to toe assessment and recorded findings.

I am looking to provide care for someone on the weekends; I work full time Monday through Friday. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant who has worked in a variety of facets as an aide, Skilled Care, Acute Care, Long Term Care, Memory Care and Assisted Living. The reason I have chosen to continue to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant is because I miss being able to provide care to someone and having the one on one relationship with the person you are providing care for. I consider myself to be passionate about this work and see it as such a rewarding process. I love the idea of enriching the patients life and mine as well.

My choice to be a care giver was simply because I cared for my grandmother as she became ill after that I knew that helping the elderly would be something I would take on along with other things. Being a care giver is on the top of my list of achievements, I've been in the field for more than 9 year, certified for 8 years and counting, I'm a positive person and believe that all things are possible if you believe and I believe. Im very professional but I also like to treat patients like family. The reason why I picked this job was because I always wanted to help people in some way. For me helping button down shirts, brushing hair, toileting, even the smallest thin, gives me satisfaction;! knowing I'm doing good and I'm helping those in need is very joyful. I put myself in those shoes and think of the way I would like to be treated if I was in a situation like that. The thing I'm always proud of is when people says "what will we do with tou you?" it's not ego, it just shows me that I'm doing a great job.

1) Because I decided to help those who can no longer help themselves, and or who needs assistance. Those whom I am sure once helped and raised others. 2) The pleasure of helping others and letting them know that life if worth living. The joy of giving from the heart, true compassion. 3) I am most proud of being who I am. A woman of raw emotions. My personal achievement. Being able to motivate others, giving hope to those who thought hope was none existence. 4) A wife, a mother, a grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren. A very passionate, caring, emotional, happy energetic person.

I believe I have became a great caregiver because I treat people the way I would want to be treated as if it was me or a family member of mine that couldn't take care of themselves. I made the choice in 1994 to become a caregiver after visiting a nursing home because I saw a lot of elderly people looking helpless which touched me deeply, so I felt if I worked there I could help them. One achievement that I am proud of right now is overcoming my fears of going back to school for nursing. I am 39 years old I have three daughters ages 21, 19, and 15. I love helping people. I consider myself a down to earth person, I am an emotional person when it comes down to me explaining something that I feel was wrong. I love to work . I am currently in school working towards my nursing career. Hopeful I can come across a job that will pay me by experience.
