I'm definitely a people person. I love helping people of all walks of life. I've worked for Fight Cancer Now which is a charity to help cancer patients throughout their treatment. I worked for the company for 25 years. I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. I'm honest caring and extremely patient. I have 3 great kids. I love the outdoors. My hobbies are hiking and riding my quad. I'm extremely easy going and can adapt to any situation.

I am CNA, HHA, Med-Tech, and now a Care Manager. I love helping others that are in need! I had a daycare for 18 years. I was looking for something else in helping others that's why I went back to school to become a CNA and HHA. I'm now in Care Management. I manage medication's, doctors appointments, transportation and oversight of senior care. Which includes case management that includes, family members that live out of state, that I oversee their family members to make sure they are receiving the best care. I love spending time with the elderly. I would not trade my job as a Care Manager/caregiver. I have taken care of many seniors, in the last 17 years and love it so much! It makes me feel so good when I go in to help others that are having a hard time taking care of themselves. And family members needing oversight of their family members in need of care. Vaccinated.

There is such a need in this line of work, but for the right type of people. I love this job and I come to work for more than a pay check.To be a great caregiver you have to be a person who naturally shows honor and respect to the elderly and those with disabilities. It is so sad that many elderly ones experience neglect at a time in their lives when they need more assistance. I am sure what they would like to say is found in the book of Psalms, it says "Do not cast me off in my old age, do not abandon me when my strength fails." Is not that the way any of us would feel? I have been trained to care for many different medical needs, including different types of breath machines and even how to clean and use a feeding tube.

My name is Cindy, I'm 24 years of age . I've been in the home health industry for 3 1/2 years actively, and enjoy helping and taking care of people. i love all people. i have worked in the public for years, I am retired Registered Dental assistant of 47 years, and only had 2 jobs in all those yrs.I have been working with and agency care giving for several years, I also have been Babysitting for 17 years with an Agency.I love all people and treat them like my family.

I've been a caregiver for 14 years and worked with just about every medical condition our elders are experiencing in their senior years. My grandmother is 96 years old and my caring and compassionate ways stem from her upbringing. You can always rely on me. Caring for my elders is such a blessed experience. Fact is, the conversations and wisdom is what I look forward to while working.

My best contribution was when I first met my last patient, she had a stage 4 bed sore wound and she needed her dressing clensed and repacked with the latest medicine and procedure which had to be done daily, but the visiting nurses where only scheduled to come once a week, so I learn the new changes and procedures at the doctors office then taught the visiting nurses and co-workers the bi-weekly changes with the wound care procedures. I was commended by the physicians, nurse, visiting nurses, and daughter for my commitment and participation with the patients wound care which healed from a stage 4 to completely healed.

I became a caregiver because my grandmother had become sick and I had to take care of her and I like taking care of the elderly so they can stay in their own home.I like being a caregiver because you can learn so much from from the elderld and I like the companionship just being able to help them.I can't say that I have a personal achievements with my clients that I had because all the achievements I was proud of.I'm a hard worker I love working with the elderly and I go above the call of duty.

Retired Peace Officer from The State of California. I am 61 yrs old. My husband and I are both retired I have 5 adult children ages 29-42, 9 grandchildren. Very compassionate about the care I provide to the clients. I to was faced with the decision to bring my father home (1986) to provide care.
