What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I believe I have a great deal of empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, it's important to have the desire to help. When showing both empathy and compassion as a caregiver, this will let my clients know that they cared for and I'm here to help the best I can. What attracted you to being a caregiver? Caregiving has always been one of those things that I have always been drawn to. Providing the best of care when someone needs it most, and help to nurture them back to health. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I truly enjoy the feedback that I get from my clients and valuable family members, it truly helps me become a better caregiver. Ultimately this would help increase their health care level and hopefully lead to a speedy recovery.

I have been in home care for over 6 years now. I have extensive experience. I think part of what makes me a better care giver is that I always try my hardest and no matter how long I've been doing this, it never gets tiresome. I've never encountered a situation where I didnt care about someone like they were my own family. That matters.

Helping to promote the health and wellness of my patients is the overall goal of any Certified Nursing Assistant. But I have more in mind! I want to make my patients feel wonderful. I want them to know that as long as they are living they can make a difference in the world! Even if that difference is just with myself, it’s a difference! I just want to help them feel great during one of the toughest time of their lives!

I am a lively, genuine, optimistic and empathetic 26year old. Right out of HighSchool, I took a CNA course and obtained my certificate. To me that was one of my greatest achievements given that I was younger at the time and had zero to no support from the adults in my life. Thankfully obtaining that certificate opened me a plethora of opportunities within the medical field. Working as a CNA allowed me to become more humble, and get a different perspective from life. I realized how rewarding the medical field was, it wasn't just about what I can do for my patients but the relationships, and memories and impacts I made in their lives. I am currently trying to get myself back in to the medical field so that I can renew and pay for my CNA/HHA certifications. After, I was blessed enough to get hired as a caregiver my life was 24/7 caregiving and unfortunately I let my certification expired, thinking I would not need it anymore. I
