I have a go getter attitude and I'm very adventurous. What made me want to me a caregiver was that I love bringing joy to other people just being able to make someone smile by helping them makes me so happy. I enjoy being able to make someone's everyday life a little bit easier no matter if it's the littlest things they need I'm more then willing to do it for them. I've made it a long way from where I used to be in life not just physically but mentally and emotionally and it might not seem that big to others but to me it means more then anything. Hi! My name is Kaliyah and some traits about me that help me to be a great caregiver is my ability to be understanding, compassionate, and a great communicator. My personal experience being a caregiver to my loved ones also adds to this. What attracted me to being a caregiver is wanting to help those who need it most. I have seen first hand and experienced what it's like to not be physically and mentally able to do for yourself and a little bit of help from a helping hand goes a long way. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving those in need back their sense of independence because as you grow in life it's important to hold on to that. I have worked in customer service since I was 17. I am all about customer care, so I believe as a caregiver I could be the best to care for them because I will go to high ends to do whatever makes them happy. I just graduated college to be a teacher. I'm taking 2 years off so I can go back to school to get my masters. My mom is a CNA and has been my whole life so when I was younger I would go with her to the nursing home she worked at and sit with everyone and just do whatever with them. I used to volunteer in high school when I lived here at nursing homes to sing to them or paint nails and stuff like that. I hope you will consider me.
