I graduated for Medical Assistant, but i've worked as a Caregiving person because i love to help others who need a hand and need companionship. What i like about being a Caregiver is because it's one of the most rewarding things a person can do to help others. A personal achievement that I'm really proud of is that I was the first person in my family to graduate and have a career is not a huge carreer but my parents were proud of me with accomplishing the whole course and not giving up. I took care of my grandfather until he died I used to do in home care in Walnut Creek I took care of my grandma and I took care of friends of mine's and other people family I love taking care of other people they can't do stuff for the sauce and can't be there for them I would love to be a person to come in and help

Hello my name is Stephanie and while at first I can be a little shy you'll see that I have a very sweet and down to earth personality. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandma shes in her last stages of dementia and she has her food and her bad days but if I can make it easier on that person then I've done my job. My grandma sometimes doesn't know who I am but I always do my best to make her feel comfortable and make her, her favorite dish or her favorite movie.

I have taken care of my grandfather who is wheelchair bound for 2+years, taken him to dialysis three times a week, helped bathe him when need be, checked his blood pressure due to having low blood pressure. I am a people oriented. Very friendly, reliable, and trust worthy. I have also taken care of my father who has M.S. I have taken him to doctor appointments, helped maintain a clean home for him to easily get around the home. I have a Medical Assistant Certificate. That is currently expired but in the process of renewing it.
