My name is Antonio Robinson I am 20 years old and have been working since I was 16. One thing I enjoy is talking and getting to know people and also helping. Caregiving has been something I enjoy doing because I love to see people happy and to feel like they have someone to always come to or have.

Ever since I was a young child, I've always been intrigued with the nursing field. My aunt use to take me to work with her and let me pass out the drinks to the clients and I loved doing it. Once I was able to become a CNA I did right after high school. I've worked in home health settings, hospice, nursing home, and assisted living. I'm a very hard worker and always go over and beyond for my clients and co-workers, when it's time for me to work my shifts, I'm there on time. I love being able to help someone who can no longer help themselves, it makes me proud.

I am a kind, caring person who loves to help others. I love being a helping hand when others aren't able to do for themselves. I enjoy hearing the different stories

My name is Amanda I'm very outgoing and I love the way we as care givers can be close friend to our patient Growing up I was always around my grandparents and just thinking how would I be a help to them as I'm growing. I enjoy the connection I make. I'm personally proud of caring for my love ones and being there for them.

Being caregiver means your are stepping in taking on role helping someone in need. Yes , you are responsible for the daily needs of a client. But also , a Companion to those . Many clients lack emotional support. Being a companion to those in need gives me the drive I have to be a great caregiver. Yes helping assisting there needs is a necessity. Also companionship caring spending time , doing fun activities, walks , clients who lack family support , grieving to loss of a spouse or loved one. As a caregiver it is my duty to feel that void and help make there life enjoyable in every aspect. I have helped take care of my elders since I was young, being side by side with my mother while she helped care for my grandmothers who'a health was declining. Being there for them as a caregiver / companion appreciating helping others especially those in need lacking the support they desperately need. I enjoy giving clients my companionship is what I enjoy the most about being a caregiver. A shoulder to lean on , cry on , grieve on , someone's support system. Helping others and giving back is what I'm post proud of. Taking my steps to further my career and learn people from all different backgrounds educating myself on the different needs of clients because not everyone is the same.

Well about myself I have family members who have dementia and bipolar disorder and I cope with it well I like taking care of elderly people because I have my grandma that I take care of also and she has dementia and I help her remember things so that's all about myself

I want to become a caregiver because I have such a great heart and I would love to give back to my community. I have empathy to provide the person with excellent nursing care, dependability, and patience. I have never been a caregiver before but I have heard a lot about it and would love the experience. A personal achievement I love about myself is how independent I am. I always try to at least maintain 2-3 jobs with no complaints. I am always on time and am always being the best person I can be. I am 18 years old and love working with new people. I am a people person and get along with people great.

I am a very compassionate caregiver who pride myself in doing the best at whatever I set out to do. I have pride myself in caring for the elderly, the sick and those in need of assisted living need or complete care. I am a mother and an excellent caregiver with an impeccable track record.

I'm a caring nurturing person. I understand the needs of the elderly. I love caregiving because I appreciate the feeling of knowing I help people that really need my help. They didn't ask to be disabled and one day we'll grow old and need someone to help us as well. I go above and beyond.

It is a quite sad, yet interesting reason I decided to become a Caregiver. I lost my grandmother back in February of this year (2014), about 2 weeks before my 23rd birthday. Not only did it break my heart, but I knew the month of February (and my life) would never be the same again. And ever since then, I have been feeling somewhat incomplete… Like I let her down because I didn't really spend much time with her because I was so "busy." In addition to that, I also felt like something was missing in me. It wasn't until I became a Professional Teller at a bank and was forced to push financial "solutions" (credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, etc.) onto unsuspecting elders, that I knew I had a greater calling. Because that could've easily been my grandmother in those young persons' shoes if she were still alive. So on August 21, 2014; I turned in my letter of resignation and decided to use my kind heart and services for good. And I must say that I have never felt more proud. I also believe that my grandmother is looking down on me smiling. I was her grand baby, Dionte McFadden and I always will be.

I've actually never been a certified caregiver but I have taken care of my 80yr old great grandmother up until her dying days. I have done everything a person can imagine when it comes to caring for the elderly. I have great customer service skills and always know how to please the clients. I strive to help people. There's nothing better than helping others.

- I am a hard working caring person i love helping people out i care a lot for my loved ones when they are sick or In recovery or need care. -what attracted me to be a caregiver was , the time my dad needed care For His wounds surgery and therapy and lots of care he needed . I helped him out for 2 years then i cared for my grandparents my grandma having diabetes and cancer. was preety tough for her so she needed a lot of help and i was there. -what i enjoy more about being a caregiver is That I learn a lot of things from people theyre stories The way they conversate and especially when they treat you like a loved one. -a personal achievement i've achieved would be that what i've learned of being a caregiver I though ide never learn.

I am a 46 year old single mother of 4 who has practiced caregiving for almost thirty years. I am attracted to caregiving because it helps me project the love I have for my parents onto those I help. A couple years ago my father, who lived in El Salvador, was diagnosed with diabetes and from that stemmed numerous other health complications; I was unable to care for him because I was in the U.S.. I care for others with the same patience and dedication as if I were treating my father.

Hello my name is Chante I am 21 years old. I grew the passion to be a caregiver at the age of 8 I started babysitting my neighbors son who has cerebral palsy so I had to learn to deal with stroke and/or seizures or any other problem. His mom was a registered nurse and taught me CPR. My grandmother also started taking me to some of her clients houses and I would help out alot from dressing to sleeping. The things I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being there to help from obesity to regular life problems. Just give me a chance!

Hii what attracted me to become a caregiver was the time I took care of my grandma after she sprained her knee and I had to look after her. After she got better I realized I had a passion for helping others and being in the healthcare profession. I really enjoy helping those who cannot help themselves and keeping them company.

I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people from friends to family to strangers so I decided I wanted to make a career out of it.
