Hello My name is Juanita Brown I have been a CNA since 2006. I love helping the elderly mainly because my mother that adopted me was 70 years old and I had to take care of her when she got sick. I love getting attached to people because some of the elderly just want to have that companionship in their lives. I believe that I can make a HUGE difference in someone else life as well become a blessing to them. My passion is writing. I love life and I appericate the smallest things. My name is Stacy. I have about 20 years of health care experience as a CNA, home health aide, patient care assistant, resident assistant, and my last adventure was as an RN with a hospice organization in Florida. I am considered a great caregiver because of my passion to genuinely care for those in need. Most of my clients & their family members want me with them everyday. I didn't realize I ever wanted to be a Caregiver at 1st, even though I have several family members in the medical field, I always took classes involving computers & courses pertaining to business. One of my best friends was an LPN & she said you would be a good nurse, take the CNA class, get your foot in the door & if you like it go further. Eventually (in 2009) I took the CNA & HHA class, I passed the stated board on the 1st try, got a job at a nursing home 2 weeks after passing the test. I will be honest, I did not like being a CNA at a nursing home & I never wanted to be a nurse, I worked at a nursing home for almost 2 yrs & then I said let me try Home Hlth, & that was when I knew this is what I was destined to do. I was only working part time on weekends as a Home Hlth Aide (I was working in an office during the week), but several clients & their families wanted me full time so I contemplated for some time & in the beginning of 2017 I made the BEST decision ever workwise to become a full time Home Hlth Aide. I love being an asset to the clients & their families, it's not just a job, it's my passion. I love providing 1 on 1 care. The best feeling in the world is when the family & the client tells you I don't know what I'd do if you haven't came into our lives, or when they say don't leave me, you can stay.
