I have over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field in med/surg nursing, senior care, and Alzheimer patient care. I am currently looking for a job as a private duty caregiver. I have a life long passion for senior care and am highly qualified with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Colombia, South America. The bachelor's degree credentials are backed by CGFNS International (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) ID# 4640928. Since 2017, I have been working as a private duty caregiver. I am bilingual, responsible, well-trained, and always excited to meet new families! I have been a certified CNA/GNA since the 90s.

I am understanding, patient, and funny. I see the glass as half full. I enjoy working with seniors. I feel that seniors have lived a life and that deserves respect within itself. I know that I am capable of fulfilling the needs of your family member. I am willing and able to assist with daily task and activities while being mindful of the need for independence, in some cases, and will provide stand by assistance in those instances for task. Lighthouse keeping such as small laundry loads, changing the linen, sweeping, mopping, dishes are not an issue for me. I will make sure you loved one is feed, hydrated, and given snacks if they wish. I enjoy caring for seniors because they have a lot to offer in regards to learning especially life lessons and different point of views. Each senior is unique and the years they have under the belt contains wisdom. I'm looking for a job that allows me to care for an individual in a way that helps them to keep as much independence, dignity, and self respect as possible. I started caring for seniors when I volunteered in junior high school and through my then church. My skills include patience, empathy and companionship- talking and listening, activities that the senior enjoys, as well as bathing and laundry.

I became a Caregiver after spending time in my earlier years taking care of my grandmother. I am currently pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse , being a caregiver allows me to give back in a special way , either for work and or for family this will always be a service that at some point in our lifetime one will need , it helps to be prepared. I am responsible , caring , compassionate honest and reliable . I currently work for a reputable Hospice company as a Certified Nursing Assistant. One of my proudest achievements is to see my oldest daughter graduating in a few months with a Bachelors degree Nursing.

I am a outstanding caregiver because i am very compassionate and i do my best to ensure the person under my care understands they are loved and i will do what i can to make their day better and smile. I became a caregiver because of loved ones and once i began that journey i fell in love with meeting new people and understanding their way of life.

I am a fun-loving young lady with a passion for patient care. As a new nursing graduate, I am seeking part-time employment that encompasses and focuses on patient care. The one thing I love most about being in this field is that I get to put a smile on my patients face by ensuring they are safe and well taken care of. I am proud that I have come so far in my academic career which allows me to be highly competent in my skills an abilities.

I became a Respiratory therapist when my mom was diagnosed with COPD. I am blessed that I love what I do and changing patient's lives. I do not give up where others have and been part of miraculous results. One example is a MSD patient, long-term ventilator dependent of Assist Control being off vent during the day and out of bed. The medical director said it was impossible but earned trust for all future recommendations. I have improved compliance from 45% to 95 % with therapy. My friendly outgoing personality puts patients at ease which is vital in successful outcomes. I am passionate, determined, creative, loyal, reliable, positive and get along with all ages and from all backgrounds. I have treated patients with respect, empathy and honesty as I would expect for myself. OBJECTIVE I am seeking a challenging and rewarding position where I have the opportunity to provide rehabilitative and educational services in conjunction with high quality patient care.

My name is Aleanna and I have a passion towards helping people and putting others before myself. I am studying to become a nurse, I have done caregiving for almost 14+ years now and it started when my grandfather lost his arm working in a sewing factory. I assisted with personal care, housecleaning and chores, grocery shopping, taking him to his regular doctor appointments. Whatever he needed, I was there to assist him constantly. I also have worked for other clients who suffered from Dementia and Alzheimer's, as well as chronic illnesses. I am very proud of the woman I am to be able to dedicate my heart and soul into helping someone and making a difference into there lives. It takes great amount of patience and effort to care for clients. Building a trusted relationship.

I am a very sympathetic, kind and caring person. I love to help people especially older folks and children. I like to plan ahead so I know exactly what decisions to make rather than being spontaneous. I am also sociable and like to know that people around me are comfortable and happy. I am attracted to older folks because they are wise and I learn a lot from them. I don't like to see people mistreated when they are in the care of others, I think of my own parents and how I would like them to be treated.

What makes me a good caregiver is I genuinely care for my clients. I care about their well being and look to make them feel better. When I step into their homes it's no longer about me and the way I feel, everything is geared toward the client. Seeing that smile on their faces make a world of a difference to me because that means I've done my job and my goals have been reached.
