I am a certified medical assistant that has 9 years of experience. I've worked on call at hospitals such as UCSF, Kaiser, Alameda health systems, etc. I have experience working in pediatrics, adult medicine, wide range of specialties such as oncology, bariatrics, neurology, acupuncture just to name a few. I would be a great fit because I have developed a wide range of skills as a medical assistant working in different departments. I also love to learn new things!

Have been in the nursing field since 1987 and am well versed in the unique mental and physical needs of the elderly..such as appropriate exercise.meals ,ADLs ,mental stimulus and more I was employed for 2.5 yrs with the same ladyThat position recently ended when she had to enter a SNF. I can honestly say we had a friendship as well as the professional relationship.I have reliable transportation,am a non smoker and am animal friendly.I only work for one family at a time,as this is extra money ,giving me flexibility with times and days.

I have been in the Medical field for 25yrs. I'm a cert. CNA, EMT, Phlebotomist. I'm working in Corporate Health & Wellness and mobile Phlebotomist for home bound patients. I'm looking for something 2 or 3 days a week to supplement my single income. I have exp. with hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, bipolar, mental health issues, bathing, transferring, meal prep. Diapers, errands, Medication reminders as well as drawing blood so patient won't have to sit in a lab. I started as a caregiver and found it very rewarding I was able to use my exp. to move up to be an EMT in the ER and on to becoming a forensic phlebotomist. I have an FBI clearance and have passed several background checks. One of my personal achievements have been using my exp. in the medical field to move up higher in my position while being a single mom of 2 children my daughter is now pre-med at USC my son is a sophomore in high school doing great!. About me: I'm a single mom of 2 wonderful children and I became a CNA after taking care of both of my parents until they passed so I know both sides of the job and what the families go through. I've worked hospice and home health for many years. I'm trustworthy, dependable, person Who treats my elder clients the way I would want my parents treated, with dignity and respect.

Love providing home caregiving services to those that would other wise not be able to do so.. I put others first I love taking care of people.. It gives me great satisfaction knowing that I am able to help put a smile on their faces when they accomplish their daily tasks. I love working with the elders because I learned a lot through conversating and sharing their fondest memories or ideas come through fruititions.

Actually my very first job at 15 years old was a nurses aide in a convalescent hospital. Since I had no grandparents I automatically fell in love with my patients. I would read to them , paint one ladies nail. And just love on them. My life took me to all different careers but in the last 3 years caring for my 81 year young father, that love for the elderly has been reignited. My father is doing well and I care part time for him. He always told us if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life. I have finally found my passion. Care giving is the most rewarding job I have found and I will spend the rest of my working career do just that. After the loss of my only child I have learned life is about loving the people that come into our lives. That is what I seek to do every day in his memory.

What make me a great CNA is that I have empathy and compassion for my patients and their families. I have patience. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very flexible. I love being a : Private CAREGIVER / CNA / HOSPICE CHHA and a RNA (physical therapist assistant) I have 20+ experience. So not only have I done Caregiving and HHA ( Home Health Aid ), I have Hospice care / CNA / Physical and Occupational therapy experience. Which is why I am a Restorative Nurse Assistant as well. Exercise for your love one is so important. Range of motion is a part of our daily living as well. So you know what the saying is " You don't move it you loose it. " I have been truly blessed to take on such a strong rewarding journey. I feel like its my calling. I'm a loving Veteran's wife as well as mother of 1 handsome 23 year old son and 1 beautiful 17 year old daughter. My plans are to return back to school to get my RN in the near future. As for now I feel very blessed to wake up to see each day that wasn't promised to me. My favorite quote is: "Why read a book when you can go to work and hear a new beautiful story from your patient everyday."
