I decided I wanted to care for others when my mom became sick and started having medical problems. I then assisted her with care, and monitoring medications etc. This motivated me to want to care for others and help do things they are unable to do. The thing I love about being a caregiver is making people happy which makes me happy about what I do. Something I am proud of is taking the extra steps needed in furthering my career and education and reaching goals I set for myself. I am a fun loving person that goes the extra mile and puts my mind into whatever I do.

I am a certify home health aide.Been doing this field for 4 in a half years.Have taking care of clients in there homes,and nursing homes.I have work with hospice clients, clients that had strokes,Alzheimers,and dementia patient.I am very good in wat i do i like this field cause i love help the elder.I like to help them feel safe and feel secure in there own presents and more independent.

I became a caregiver because the most important thing to me is helping others, I love making others feel good and easing whatever pain they may have. it makes me proud when others look at me with a sense of gratitude, understanding the genuine love that comes with taking care of others. I am 23 I recently moved to Georgia from Michigan, I am striving to become a pediatric nurse. My achievement that I am proud of is Mom mother had cancer and I took care of her in her finally stage until she passed away. I didn't want anyone to take care of her but me because I wanted to let her know she was safe with me, She died peacefully because she knew I was there and I wouldn't let her go until the end. I am very trustworthy, responsible. I am always on time. I love and value life. I am a Christian and I love my God. I love bowling, reading. skating. being with family and friend, I also like taking long walks to just clear my mind. I am currently enrolling in school so I can get my CNA. because I really enjoy talking with the elderly and just making someone smile. I have always taken care of my Aunts when they get sick they call on me to help. I also took care of my grandmother before she passed away my father as well..

Im very helpful,companionship is the key to taking care of people.I use to watch my grandmother for 2 years before she passed so great experience ,very careful person love to help people thats in need my achievements is getting up every morning with my kids.and,also when I worked at kmart as a cashier they hired my 2weeks later as a up front supervision aide

I chose to become a caregiver because I am allowed to provide assistance to those who can't do every day activities by themselves anymore. I enjoy seeing the person's smiling face after I've provided care. I love seeing people strive for as much independence as possible by doing what they can by themselves. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I work on care in a timely fashion while maintaining constant communication with the person care is being performed on, and also maintaining privacy.

My mom, granny , and aunt all have worked in the hospital & have had Experience with caregiving. All of the wonderful people my mom has cared for we now consider them family , what i enjoy best about being a caregiver is getting a close bond with them and learning and hearing about their life

Hello my name is Stephanie and while at first I can be a little shy you'll see that I have a very sweet and down to earth personality. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandma shes in her last stages of dementia and she has her food and her bad days but if I can make it easier on that person then I've done my job. My grandma sometimes doesn't know who I am but I always do my best to make her feel comfortable and make her, her favorite dish or her favorite movie.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and being able to put a smile on someones face, it just lighten up my day. I went to school for CNA and I have my certificated.. I have trained in a Clinic and I have my CPR license. The most important is to give them love, respect so they know that you there for them . My name is Mary, I live in Port Jervis. I help take care of my boyfriends mom she's 83 yrs old. She had a stroke 5years ago. I help out around the house. I can't lift alot due to tendinitis in both wrist. I am a mom of two with 3 grandchildren.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping and caring for people. The thing I like about being a caregiver is being able to talk with my residents and learn their stories.
