I have been an experienced caregiver for four years, caring for special needs clients and older adults. I love going to outings with clients and interacting with them. Being a caregiver is more than just a job; it's a passion and a life lesson. I was taught that each client is a soldier of God, and I'm caring for God's soldiers. Caregiving also taught me to have patience under certain situations such as when a client is being stubborn or having tantrums.

What makes me a great caregiver is I am compassionate, loving, caring, Dependable, what made me become a caregiver is I loved taking care of my 90-year-old grandmother, I saw elderly people really need help with everyday living, I love to see the joy in elderly people when I help them

I'm very patient, compassionate, personable, and likable. I have over 20 years of experience as a caregiver. I like to treat my clients like family and connect with them on a personal level. I have a sister who has a developmental disability (Cerebral Palsy) and always wanted to help other people with disabilities. I enjoy connecting with my clients and want their families to have a sense of peace knowing that they are being well taken care of. I have never had a complaint from any of my clients or their families, I am very proud of this because I know I'm providing my best.

Having over 8 years of experience as a care giver, assassinating elderly in their daily needs such as hygiene, medication reminder, meal preparation if need be taking them out for a walk, meal shopping or any activities of their choice. I have a behavior science degree, as well as CNA BLS provide (CPR & First AIDE), I have a good report with the people i take care of and i like my job as a care giver and i take pride in what i do.

I was a caregiver to my husband for the last 4 years of his life. We were married for 62 years when he passed away. After his passing I felt I wanted to help other individuals who had a need for some assistance to remain in their home for as long as possible. I personally think this is important. In the 2 positions I have held I bonded with my clients, loyal, trustworthy, diligent, dependable. I believe individuals should remain in their home for as long as possible. My ability to interact and build a strong and comfortable bond with my clients stems from my 40 plus years in human resources and the medical industry. I am originally from Wichita, KS. My Dad moved the family to California when I was 10 years old. After graduating from High School, I moved back to Wichita, KS and wanted to be a Nurse. I decided to take a CNA class to see if that is the kind of work I would be happy doing. I worked for 3 1/2 years. I loved taking care of all the patients. I got married and we moved to California. I was a stay at home Mom. I divorced and moved to Oklahoma 10 years ago. I worked for several different companies in OKC as a 24 hour live-in Caregiver. I have also done a several Private Positions as well. I love cooking and cleaning and helping Seniors to feel comfortable in their homes. As an active Senior myself, I know the needs of other Seniors. I would like to work 3 to 4 days a week. I will always be available for emergencies as I know they happen. I am dependable and responsible. I am willing to work 24 hour periods if requested. I am considering moving to Chickasha and I don't mind doing some traveling. With 20 miles or less would be fine with me. I am from California and that is normal for me. I need to be active and this is the best way to do it, by helping others.
