I am a caring, warm-hearted and determined person. I love helping people and I also listen to what they have to say or feel. I have personal experience of being a caregiver, which that person inspired me more to become a caregiver and help people and care for others that are in need.

I love to help people. It's ingrained in me. I firmly believe that helping others is how we find our own place. My BA is in Technical Theatre with a dual emphasis in Sound Design and Stage Management. However, I also studied with the Nursing Assistant Training Institute in Shoreline, WA. I had my first caregiving job in college over a summer, working with a woman with severe mobility limitations, helping her with daily tasks like preparing meals and getting her into bed, as well as hearing her stories. My experience with her is what has drawn me to caregiving as a job path.

I love being a happy, up lifting companion for seniors. I think it's important that they feel loved and cared for. I started working in assistant living when I was 16 in dietary. I eventually became a caregiver at 18. I loved caring for my residents, even the grumpy ones seemed to enjoy my presence. I hope to bring sunshine to someones cloudy days.
