Hello, my name is LeAnn. I'm a very fun loving and caring person who enjoys helping others. I do have my CNA 1 & 2 as well.

I have been providing in-home care for seniors for over 3 years both through agencies and as an independent contractor. I enjoy assisting seniors in being able to enjoy the safety and comfort of their own homes. I hold CNA (subject to renewal) and HHC certificates which attest to the specific training I have had for the task of home health care.

Personality traits that I believe make me a great caregiver is that I love being around the elderly, I love listening to their stories and learning something from them. I'm a bubbly person that loves to be around people and spend quality time with them always cracking a joke and keeping everyone in a good mood. What made me want to be a caregiver was taking care of my grandfather and my great grandmother until the passed. I became a lot closer with the both of them and gained wisdom that I'm able to take with me in life. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is not only spending time with the clients but helping them do their favorite hobby or making their favorite meal to put a smile on their face and make them feel cared for. A personal achievement I'm proud of is juggling going to school for phlebotomy and exclusively breastfeeding my first baby who just turned 1 this month, this is the most humbling back breaking experience I've done yet but I love it and I wouldn't change it.

I'm a very caring person especially for the elders who need help the most love just putting a smile on there face when I can help them around there house and what made me really want to get into this died when I lose my dad to cancer and I helped his sister thru her sickness til she died last year so it's my way of given back to the community

My name is Lisa Pearsall. I am 29 years old and I have three children. I am currently a nursing student and work as a Home Health Aide. I became a caregiver in 2006 because I wanted to help improve the quality of care given to individuals in need. I enjoy being a caregiver because I know that I make a difference. I encourage my clients to do their very best and acknowledge them when they do even the simplest things for their selves. A personal achievement of mine as a CNA would have to be that I caught a severe problem that a client of mine had, just by observation. I noticed her skin was a slight yellow and her blood pressure wasn't bad but wasn't her norm either. I contact my supervisor, which then contacted her daughter. She was taken to the hospital and they found out she had pancreatic cancer. The doctors told her if she hadn't went she wouldn't of made it through the night. She ended up living another 2 weeks. He family contacted me and were so grateful that I seen the signs of change in her. They said hat because of me, they were able to have 2 more weeks with her.
