Hello my name is Stephanie and I chose to become a caregiver because I took care of my aunt who needed assistance and loved being able to help so decided to help others too. My favorite part is becoming friends with my client and for them to feel comfortable asking for what ever they may need.

I'm a veteran , mom and sister. My dad passed away last year from esophageal cancer. I've cared for him in various capacities since 2016. Specifically medication management, personal hygiene, transportation to docs, cleaning up for him, light house keeping, and I've been trained in hospice care and first aid. I came from the corporate world which isn't where I am most fulfilled.

My name is Paula Guzman. I'm 68 years young, I'm a widow with no small children (I have two adorable miniature Schnauzers). I'm originally from Maryland and moved to TX after retirement 12 years ago. I would describe myself as being dependable, resourceful, kind and as having a very strong work ethic. I am empathetic, honest, loyal and believe in the Golden Rule. I'm creative and artistic, love to take my clients for walks, if permitted. I'm a 4 year Air Force Veteran, Medic, then worked for DOD as a Civilian Combat Photographer for 30 years, then retired. Being a caregiver will enabled me to assist my care families at a time that can be extremely difficult and allow them to get out to go grocery shopping, dinner or errands. Hi there. My name is Breanna, but you can call me Bre. Prior to caregiving, I was in the US Army as a Religous Affairs Specialist. After the army I had no idea what I wanted to do, I found a caregiving job in Austin, TX. I absolutely fell in love with it. I adore getting to know people's life and past and even getting to know their family members. I have a great heart and I'm very passionate at what I do. My greatest accomplishment was when I worked with a 104 year old who become my best friend, she would always come to me anytime she had a problem because she knew I would figure it out. When I moved from Austin to Fort Worth, she would call me everyday and tell me to come back. It made me happy I had such an impact on her life! I'm happiest when working as a caregiver.

I am a recently separated US Army Veteran with a specialty in Intelligence. Throughout my brief separation time I have been blessed to continue to assist my ailing Great-Grandmother with many of her needs before she became too ill to stay in the home. I enjoyed providing companionship, reading, and giving my time to another human being, even if she couldn't remember my presence the following day. I have always had a desire to serve others. I joined the US Army in 2001 to serve my country and left Honorably in 2013 to pursue a nursing career. As a Registered Nurse, I am rewarded daily by the clients I serve. I live to bring a smile to someone's face, and I will always have a smile on mine. No matter what our circumstances as individuals, it is always our duty to care for others, and we will never regret giving of ourselves. My experience as a Registered Nurse has been on Medical-Surgical and Medical ICU settings. I am certified for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. I am familiar with many medications and able to work around special equipment, such as ventilators, ostomies, etc. I am able to assist with activities of daily living, cleaning, wound care, medication administration, and much more. Most importantly, I am an advocate who understands that each person requires and deserves individualized, loving care.

I became a Caregiver to provide assistance to those in need. I like being a Caregiver because it provides me with the satisfaction of truly helping others. I am proud of the joy my clients feel when they see me. I am a very empathetic and compassionate person.

I have always told others that I not medically inclined until almost three years ago my now 5 year old grand son almost drowned in our pool. Man had given upon him surviving. His parents were told that they would be provided with medically assisted suicide. To this day I have been thankful they did not go that route. I learned how to perform trachea change, g-tube feeding and administer medications via his G-tube, comfort him, I have talked many through and even out of major depression. I cared for my parents and grandmother who was a diabetic and those who had high blood pressure just to mention a few. I realized during these transitions that being a caregiver is such a critical player in a time of need because many family members are unable to stop their day to day lives and provide that much needed attention for their live ones. I promise to be loving and caring to your loved ones, they need the care and attention I have to offer.
