I believe am I loving person that enjoys helping Our Wonder Elderly that need that extra hand. What i most enjoy being a cargiver is knowing Iam helping that someone in any way possible ,that My clients feel that they are being appreciated. My achievements would be grow to be a better, more experience Caregiver, go that extra mile for anyone in need.

First of all, I want to say that hope every one is doing fine despite of the pandemic that's going on right now.I was a CNA and CHHA for about 20 years,then join the regestry ,until my friend recommended me to her client. I became a private Caregiver. I enjoy being a Caregiver for the reason that i love helping and taking care of Elderly and people with disabilities. My personal achievement is my self, because I always have a positive attitude, I'm helpful and always treat my clients and co-workers equally. I treat my clients as a family, that is maybe one of the reason why they love me too. I'm a single mom of 4,Being honest, trustworthy,reliable, dependable and always on time is the best weapon i have in life.I always make it sure when i leave my work everything is neat,clean,and tidy. I always make it sure too,that my clients are safe and happy about my service. I'm happy when my clients are happy when I'm around them.

I've really enjoyed working with people all my life from high school on where I volunteered with a group who helped out mentally impaired men in the community. When I was a young women I was a single mother and I wanted a satisfying job with the know how to help people in need. I didn't want an office job because I wanted to know that I was helping people with various needs whether physical, mental or emotional so that they could live a better life. That being said I had schooling as an Emergency Med. Tech. and had on the job training as a Physical Therapy Tech while in high school and in an outpatient clinic. Many of the patients and clients I've worked with have become like family to me.

Since I can remember I have always cared for others and took care of those around me. By age 13 I was living and caring for my Type One Diabetic Granny. She was a retired RN, my mom was a RN, and my Aunt is a RN. It was my goal to follow in the same footsteps as the woman in my life. Unfortunately I never got my RN degree and started my family instead. However, I graduated High school a certified CNA and HHA after attending Francis Tuttle Vo-tech my Junior and Senior year of High School. I am a very energetic and easy to get along with person. My mother always said, "I never met a stranger." I am a 6 ft tall female so naturally I was expected to play basketball. I attended basketball camp one year because all my friends were not cause I cared about playing. I came home with every girls phone numbers from the camp and a plaque for " Miss Congeniality." They specially had made for me because I had no interest in the game but they wanted to recognize me because they had never seen a girl that absolutely got along with every girl and and staff member there before. I get a sense of enjoyment from caring for those who cannot care for themselves and was raised to respect others around me, especially those older and wiser than me no matter what.

What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? Not to toot my own horn, but I'm a genuine person, as well as honest. But I also care, I care a lot about people, their issues, and I'm willing to help. What attracted to you being a caregiver? At first I thought it was going to be an easy job, but as the years have shown, it's not just an easy job to have. But it is a fulfilling one, and it's been my favorite job I've had out of the many. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? Not only the sense of fulfillment, but I love getting to know others, hearing about people's lives and how they grew up. It's very interesting to hear something new. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Being able to live away from home. I may not have made it big, but I made it out! proud of?

I became a caregiver at a very young age by taking care of my ill grandmother and father, both having numerous medical conditions. I know about several illnesses and medical conditions, administer medication and insulin shots as well as help with other daily personal and social issues that arise. I worked as aN LPN in many settings over the next 20+ years until i committed a crime of theft by deception and lost my LPN license. It has been 7 years and I have paid my debt to society and now carry 4 counts of a misdemeanor theft by deception. so what a price to pay. I have been working as a self employed home care giver and have done fairly well over the past two years. I am looking for a company that will allow me to use my training and passion for nursing to benefit others. Please take a chance and grant me an interview.
