I'm a great caregiver because I look at my clients as if they are my grandparents, and I treat them as I would my own. I believe the younger generations should understand the responsibility of taking care of those who have taken care of us. One of my greatest accomplishments is becoming a STNA because I feel I like I'm doing my part in helping provide TLC for our elderly population.

I am passionate about caring for others. I'm a private provider with Medicaid waiver. I am CPR/first aid certified.

10 years on the same job would likely tell I have a good attitude . Willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am serving you well .I take pride in everything I do hold my work to high standards what I enjoy most is a satisfied senior/patient I get much gratification . what attracted me is my skill I know im good at serving with a good attitude this is the field I need to be in

Before I started working in the field of care giving, I've always had a heart and cared for the elderly, that's why it comes so naturally to me. I believe everyone should be given the respect they deserve. I'm a compassionate person and sympathetic, understanding to the those who are in need of specific care, a listening ear, and just someone who genuinely cares. I truly enjoy being able to bring some joy to the lives of others, it gives me a sense of gratification knowing I've made someone's day a little better. I was grateful for the training I received at Menorah Park because it enabled me to give my own father (I took care of him for close to 5 years until he passed) who had special needs, which included dementia, and just basic care that my mother was unable to help with. Simply, I love and care for the elderly and they deserve the best care as they go thru the winter season of their lives.

I became a caregiver after I experience my mother in a nursing home. I watched her wither away without proper care. Her illness could not be reversed, but I wanted her last days to be comfortable. I decided to learn about certified nursing assistant programs so I could give the right care to someone in need. I enjoy being there for someone to help better their life and uplift them through whatever pain and or illness they are going through. I am very proud to see a patient or resident excel daily living by my nurturing spirit and trust. I reflect hope and encouragement into whomever I care for and I have been successful with healing a broken spirit. I am from Ohio and decided to move to Philadelphia three years ago. I am a student at Community College of Philadelphia. My goal is to become a RN in the near future.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to help people , I like the fact that I can make a difference in someone's life. I'm proud of the fact that I had a book program for my residents at a previous job and they really enjoyed it and so did I !!!! I was awarded the Employee of the Month and Service With A Heart a few times !!!! I'm a mother of 4 grown children , 5 grandchildren. I moved to N.C. to help my daughter & her husband take care of their 2 children while they worked and attended school. Now that my daughter is finished with school I plan on attending school in the spring of 2015 the obtain my LPN license.
