Hello! I have been a CNA for almost 8 years now. I worked in a nursing home as well as an adult day care setting, but I have done home care for almost 5 years now and I love it! I currently work in the Hospital as a PCA but only 2 days a week so it leaves my schedule pretty open. I love caring for people and allowing them to be kept in the comfort of their own home! As a highly empathetic and caring individual with extensive experience in the caregiving field I am deeply committed to treating my elderly clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care. I also excel at planning creative activities customized to client needs and physical/mental abilities. I also have a background in housekeeping and have a passion for cooking.

Iam a very pleasant,dependable,compassionate person. I have always wanted to help people,who needed help. Growing up I would always help my parents take care of their,parents who were ill. That is when I knew I wanted to be in the medical field.It gives me great joy to see my clients,meet their personal goal to stay self sufincent . I went back to school,for my CNA licencse after I raised my children on my own I have had florida live scan level2 background check and fingerprints @FL Dept of Health

I do have a passion in caring for the elderly. I provide Volunteer care and supervision with the Liberian Community Association of Rhode Island . I do have specialty in caregiving for the Elderly. I am a recent graduate of the CNA Preparatory school, West haven, CT. My clinical experience was to provide care for the Elderly. female residence. I did it with great dedication and passion.

I mainly became a caregiver due to personal experience. What I like about being a caregiver, is that I am able to give the same care as I would like any of my family members including myself to have. A personal achievement that I am very proud of myself is being able to go back to school. I am a hard, passionate and dedicated worker. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver. It means a lot to me that I was able to help someone by assisting that person get their strength back and being able to do what they could not have done by themselves before.
