Looking for a empathetic caregiver near Campbell, CA to take care of Mother. help is needed Monday afternoon, Monday evening, Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday evening, Thursday afternoon, Thursday evening, Friday afternoon, Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon, and Sunday evening. 28 hours per week of support is needed to start October 28, 2015. Caregiver's duties will include meal prep, groceries & shopping, transportation, housekeeping, and companionship All applicants will be considered. About this Care Recipient
Hello, my mom is in the beginning/middle stages of Alzheimer's/Dementia. She is 82 years young. She lives at home with her dog who is also pretty aged. She can still take care of herself with hygiene areas however, she needs help with remembering to do things, such as eat, or feed the dog, taking care of the house, i.e., clean, groceries. She still drives, but does not drive much. She is VERY resistant to having someone come in and take care of her, she thinks she is fine and doesn't need help. Her short-term memory is pretty much gone.
