We would like to hire another person to help with our Mom, we have one great person already and would like another that prefers friday through Sunday for a couple hours a day and can communicate with our other helper. If you have applied before for this and are still interested please ping again as we are making another opening. Hi, our Mom is in Park Alzheimer Residential Care in bakersfield. 2-3times a week, flexible hours, for additional companionship most commonly for feeding and excercise and companionship chatting and more rarely to have someone who is available to accompany her during medical appointments. Companionship consists of someone who is happy (she likes to laugh with someone), hand holding, checking on hydration, eye or other medication, story telling and she can't see well so giving her things to touch is great like the stuffed animals on her bed or just soft tactile toys.We would like someone to visit her/ CNA or other certification if possible.
