Looking for an honest, patient, and nurturing caregiver near Pleasant Hill, CA to take care of Mother. Speaking Cantonese and English are A MUST. Mother is currently cared for by my father, but he needs assistance. Need help from 8:00 - 11:00 am and 3 pm to 6 pm MON - FRI. The caregiver will be responsible for incontinence, grooming, and bathing, meal prep, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, walking & exercise, medication reminders. 30.0 hours per week of help is needed to start ASAP The Alzheimers has been with her for over 20 yrs, and has now progressed to Dementia. She has good and bad days, mostly good. However, on bad days, we can see the signs as it slowly appears. On bad days, she doesn't want to be held, touched, or told what to do and wants to be left alone. The day will begin at 8:00am with getting my mother awoken, groomed, fed and then transported to adult day care that begins at 9:30am. Then, the caregiver will return to the home and will do light duty housecleaning and grocery shopping as needed until shift is completed.
