Looking to hire a enthusiastic, experienced, and compassionate caregiver to take care of Father, located near Middle River, MD. Dad is still morning the death of our mother who passed away in January 2017. He spents all of his time in the recliner watching TV. Due to his inactivity. he has become weak and unstable. He began falling a lot. Last time he fell he fractured his spine and spent time in rehab. This was dad's 2nd time in rehab. At this point he will have in home PT and OT with an aid coming 2 times a week for bathing. Dad is pretty much bed ridden, but want to work on getting back on his feet. He is suffering from contractures in his ankles and calves. We need assistance 3 days per week in the morning/afternoon. Ideally from 10AM-3PM which would start on or about September 10, 2019. Also request additional help the weekend of September 20th and 21st as I have plans to be out of town. I have 2 sisters who will be available to help as needed. Caregiver's duties will include dressing, bathing (in bed), exercise and having him moving. Dad is a great guy with a fabulous sense of humor. He likes to watch TV all the time, his favorites are westerns and sci-fi. Caregiver duties will include dressing, bathing, exercise and having him moving.
