I am seeking a nurturing and responsible caregiver located near Upper Marlboro, MD to help care for Mother. I need assistance 1 day per week in the evening and afternoon. Ideally 10 hours per week of support would start February 13, 2016. The caregiver will be responsible for performing the following: transportation, companionship, and meal prep. Dedicated and serious applicants only. A great opportunity to work privately in a loving home, while earning more!
About this Care Recipient
My mother is 80 and has slight, short term memory issues. She was a former educator and very independent. My father and her husband and first love of 52 years, died 4 years ago and she has never truly stopped grieving. She has no physical ailments, is on no medication, and is energetic and personable. She loves talking to others, exercising with others, playing bingo and solitaire. We are looking for a companion on an as needed basis as she only stays with me and my husband for a week each month. Otherwise she lives with my sister's family.
