Reliable caregiver needed - Who needs care: My Mother Address: Castle Shannon, PA Daily Activities: Bathing, Dressing and Grooming, Toileting, Meal Prep, Transferring and Mobility, Exercise, Housekeeping Medical Conditions: Arthritis, Orthopedic Care My mother is 88 years old with an extremely sharp mind and pleasant personality. Her overall condition is one of debility - mainly due to her hip arthritis, spinal stenosis, and general physical weakness including her arms and shoulders. The caregiving will include my father, who lives with my mother. He is 94 years old and is starting to show his age. He is comfortable with familiar situations in the company of a pleasant and helpful person, although he can be fussy and theatrical at times. Patience is required for routine tasks. Care to begin on January 10, 2022 More than 6 months All 5 Weekdays, Monday through Friday Morning and Afternoon Number of hours of care per week are required? 20 Caregiver is: Female She would be living: In her own home (live-out) Language: English Reliable caregiver needed for husband and wife in their home Our goal is to assist my parents so that they may continue living in their house of 57+ years, near their wonderful neighbors. They are currently managing, due mainly to these neighbors who assist with outside maintenance, grocery delivery, occasional appointments etc. My parents also receive Meals On Wheels. Their son arranges for delivery of most other items through online orders, and helps them remotely with bill paying, household management, caregiving and other planning, etc. The primary caregiver duties will be the Daily Activities described above. Their schedule is more flexible than indicated above as they are mainly self-sufficient each day. Late morning to early afternoon would be the ideal caregiving time period to get their day started and feed them lunch, with some housekeeping duties. It may be that 4 days a week is preferred by the caregiver
