A one day, three hour job as an escort/medical transportation. Act as the point of contact to check me out of outpatient surgery at St. David's North Austin Medical Center (near Mopac and Parmer), then provide transportation in your vehicle to my home to the Lakeline area. The hospital will not allow ride share services and requires a specific person and their contact information be provided to staff beforehand so they can call and make arrangements for the discharge. You will not be required to wait at the hospital during surgery, but you will need to be somewhat flexible on the time of pickup, and available by phone to take the call. I am listing this as a three hour job, and will pay that price due to the waiting time and need to be flexible, as well as the hospital verbiage about needing an escort for two hours. The anticipated discharge time is 2:30 pm but could vary based on how long the surgery takes, and recovery time. Depending on the outcome, there may be more surgeries or procedures so more caregiving needed in the future.
