Looking for person to work 8:30- 12:30 M-F caring for retired quadriplegic veteran in a home setting in Katy TX. Duties would include: feeding, bed bathing, dressing, passive range of motion exercises and stretching, oral care, using a Molift and harness to transfer from bed to power chair, help patient with attaching assistive devices, setting up exercise equipment, making breakfast, lunch and light housekeeping. PROM exercises require repetitive heavy lifting. This job is part of the VA Directed Care program and administered by Harris Health. Candidate would need to pass background check and employment eligibility verification. We are looking for a caregiver for immediate hire, employee start date would be after all required paperwork is submitted. Pay rate is $19 per hour.
