Hi, I am well versed in caring for the elderly, as I cared for both parents full time for over 10 years. Both were bed-bound, and mother was completely paralyzed from a stroke. I am very familiar with tube feeding, breathing treatments, wound care, physical and physiotherapy, and everything and anything regarding caring for a totally incapacitated individual. I am proficient in avoiding bedsores (mother never had any while in my care), and am able to transport from hospital bed to wheelchair, etc. and more. I am patient, kind, compassionate, understanding, and work well with both the elderly and children. I will do everything in my power to assist in helping to maintain the best quality of life to those I care for. Before caring for my parents, I had spent my adult life in the healthcare industry. I have many resources that I can provide for families to obtain FREE products, services, and programs to assist in their loved one's care. Many of these resources are difficult to find, and can save families hundreds to thousands of dollars per year. I prefer working one-on-one with individuals, as I feel it is the best way for me to give focused and undivided attention to those I care for. I would love the opportunity to be of service.
