I am a fully dedicated, professional caregiver and a certified Nursing Assistant. I put 100% into every job that I take on and my belief is to "do unto others as you would have others do unto you". My experiences are extensive, from being a mother of 4 awesome children for the last 30 years and now a Grandmother of 4 beautiful girls. Currently I've been working with the elderly who have severe Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's Disease, Hospice, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, and numerous other health issues in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. as well as private in home caregiving as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I've also worked with the developmentally disabled as an instructor at adult daycares including Down's syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, brain injuries, Autism, and have experience with feeding tubes, colostomy bags, catheter care, as well. I thoroughly enjoy helping people, giving hands on care as if the person I'm with is my own family member, and I have great compassion and empathy for people who can't take care of themselves. It makes me proud to know I've made someone else's day brighter and at the end of the day, that's good enough for me. Taking the time to listen and pay attention to detail is really what caregiving is all about. Doing something for someone who can't do for themselves. Showing love, kindness, grace, patience and keeping ones dignity is vital to the well being of an individual. It's what makes me a great caregiver.
