About Donna

I became a caregiver when I found my neighbor laying in the street after he fell. He was 90 years old, legally blind, and had alzheimers. Unable to really cook or drive, I started taking him shopping, out for ice cream treats, and to my job, where I was working at a senior center. At the beginning, he only had canned goods in his pantry. I made him dinners, took him to the doctor, and we became fast friends. I LOVE working with people, and giving them a reason to smile. I love to play board games, card games. I can even read to them, if they like, as I love books.
