I understand how it's like to care for a loved one. I am a caregiver for my 82 year old mother who had a stroke in 2009. Since then, I have learned so much of how to care for someone who is dependent on me. It wasn't an easy task, however it helped me to understand how to speak, and treat my mother in a loving way. I learned to listen and observe her body language as to what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. I know that everyone is different but they all have the same desire, and that is to be treated with Love, compassion and lots of patience. I also understand that at times they'll be having a hard day with their own personal issues, however, making them feel that it's alright and assure them that I'm here for them really can make their mood change into a positive one. Because of my mother, I have grown to Love and appreciate all that she's done for me throughout my life. This is something I love to do and plan to do it until her time comes. There are many memories I've built with her while caring for her. She always worked hard and did not have the opportunity to enjoy herself. But I had the opportunity to take her to do many things she never did before. I am a caregiver, a cook, a caterer, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am compassionate at what I do, and I do it with lots of Love.

I have been providing companionship & activities the client enjoys and performing physical and cognitive exercises, performing light housekeeping, laundry, linen changes, running errands, and shopping for groceries and household supplies. I love what I do because I love helping my clients defy the odds in the comfort on their home.
