I realized being a caregiver was something I wanted to do when my grandmother passed away. I helped my mother take care of her when she was sick and I enjoyed what I was doing. I love helping people, it's a joy to give back. When you make people feel good it's a great feeling. When I decided to become a caregiver I told my family that I was going back to school and I was going to assist the elderly and people with special needs they were very excited and thought I'd be a great caregiver. I have been a CNA for 18 years and I am very happy with my career choice.
