I became a caregiver because I love the thought of helping someone else who can't do for themselves or just need a little help. My grandmother is 94 and my momma moms been taking care of her 20+ years. I've been there I learned how to do everything and I've also watched her change from being able to help herself a little to becoming completely handicap. When I graduated high school in June of 2014 I went straight to Brown Mackie College and started studying in the medical field to obtain my LPN. The program was a year long I had to stop the program after being 6 months in because of family issues and now that I am residing Ga I plan on finishing at the same school here and getting that degree. Even with me being out of school it still hasn't made me change my mind on what career path I want to follow. I have long term dream still & I am going to accomplish them all. My goals right now is to find a job still in the field I love to study and finish school and get that first degree then later go back to get RN, then go back to become a doctor. I feel like I am a neat fit for this position because I live at home with a handicap and still do this job daily!!! I also have experience in nearing homes as well before I moved from Michigan.
