About Laurie

I am a Respiratory Therapist and a HHA. . I have been a caregiver since 1985 and I love to take care of people! If I can make someone's day a little brighter then I can go home feeling very happy and with a smile on my face!. I took care of my mom who recently passed. At the end she needed total care. I have received many letters from patients and their families. The letter that comes to mind was written by a doctor who was a patient. I didn't know he was an attending doctor at the hospital we both worked at. He wrote a letter of commendation to the Administrator of Northern Dutchess Hospital. I still have the letter. He was so impressed by the excellent patient care I gave him, and all I did was to be me. All of my patients got the same level of care .. Taking care of people is what I do the best! Just to add, I am a mature, compassionate woman, who is reliable, dependable, and always on time.
