I have worked in Health Care for for 28 years ,, its all I know , and I can not think of doing anything else ; I love my Job at a Nursing Home in Baldwinsville NY ,,I am looking to "branch out " into something new !! something that is the future in Health Care, and the Carelinx company looks like that to me .

I am an energetic, reliable and compassionate registered nurse who is devoted to caring for others. I have 6 years of nursing experience; 4 years as a LPN and 2 years as a RN. I acquired my experience in a fast-paced hospital setting on a medical surgical floor and I am now avid in shifting my nursing practice to a private duty care giver. My interest in nursing began as a young girl after a personal family experience with a close loved one. Through my high school years, I was given the opportunity to explore the health care field more in depth by shadowing various jobs. I found nursing to be the most appealing because of its diversity and constant advances in medical trends that give plenty of opportunities to build a strong foundation of nursing skills and wide range of experiences. Through dedication and the use of medical advances, my medical expertise and skill sets, I work diligently to provide safe compassionate quality care. I have a strong passion for caring for others and take pride in what I do. I enjoy building trusting relationships with clients and their families and believe communication is the key ingredient. Other traits and experiences include: * Establishes short and long term goals with clients and families. * Proficient in assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation. * 6 years of experience in geriatrics, cardiac and comfort/palliative care. * Well organized and team player with collaborative health care team members. * Ambition to learn new medical advances and experience new things. My current availability would be Monday through Friday after 4:30pm. 1 day a week twice a month I am committed to working a short shift from 8-9:30pm, but I do have a month in advance notice.
