TO WHOW THIS MAY CONCERN MY NURSING CAREER BEGAN IN 1985 OUT OF A MAJOR CONCERN FOR THE SICK,INFIRMED AND ELDERLY, WHO IN MOST CASES CANNOT ADEQUATELY CARE FOR THEMSELVES. SINCE CHILDHOOD, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE PASSION OF CARING, HOWEVER, I HAD TO BECOME AN ADULT TO BEGIN TO TAP INTO MY SPIRITUALITY AND ACHIEVE WHAT WAS IN MY HEART. MY YEAR OF NURSING SKILLS ARE NOT LIMITED AND THEY INCLUDE TOTAL CARE FOR PATIENTS. I AM VERY ENERGETIC AND CAN MULTITASK IF AND WHEN NECESSARY.I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE IN INCAPACITATED CONDITIONS SHOULD HAVE SPECIAL CARE AND RESPECTED AND TREATED AS HUMAN BEINGS AND THEIR NEEDS BEING FULLY MET ARE MY MAIN FOCUS. WHEN I AM GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY THROUGH EMPLOYMENT, MY WORK HABITS AND PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES WILL SPEAK VOLUMES OF WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM CAPABLE OF DOING. MY I SHARE THIS THOUGH WITH YOU WITH YES I CAN ,YES I DID, YES I WILL .

I became a caregiver because,I love people(sick/elderly). Taking care of people makes me feel good about myself and it is a passion of mine. Personal achievement I'm proud of,I lost my favorite aunt Feb.4,2015 due to cancer which took her life within two months after finding out. She had no children,just her sister(my mom)children. Six of my mom children took shorter shifts,family leave or a different shift of work. Just so we could monitor/take care of my aunt. We stayed/took care of my aunt in her home until her last breath. I also did the arrangement of my aunt funeral.This was very personal to me and something I have never done before. I am 53 years of age,a very hard worker with 15 years of experience,competent with starting work independently and within a team environment. I am very eager and ambitious to learn new skills that can be used to benefit your organization. As a self-directed, resourceful certified nursing assistant with a strong background in patient assessment and medical intervention I am experienced in providing direct patient care in accordance to laid-down care plans. With a strong passion for creation an environment conducive to patient care my objective is to serve others.
