I became a caregivers because I think the family members should remain at home in their own surrounding. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people and help them in the time they have left. I'm proud that my patients trust me to take care of them and feel safe. I have been doing home health for 28 yrs and I was trained by my parents.They did home health as live-in's and I would give them time off. Like. 48 to 72hrs.I have also worked in Nursing Home's. Plus I've worked for Nurses. Umlimted for 9 year's now. I love what I do for a living. I enjoy my work because I can give the families a chance to go back to being husband and wife or mother an daughter or son an dad. I try to take away the stress of being a care giver to family members so they can enjoy their time together
