Hello, my name is Danielle. I live in Timberwood Park on the far north side of San Antonio. I have been caring for an elderly woman in her home approximately 25 hours a week since August 2017. Sadly, that position has come to an end. Prior to that position, I lived with and cared for my Grandmother, who lives in CO, and who suffers from congestive heart failure, dementia, and had suffered a stroke. I am currently looking for a position assisting seniors or disabled individuals, in their homes, with activities of daily living, errands, transportation, personal care, or to just provide companionship. I lived with and cared for for my grandmother who has congestive heart failure and had a stroke. She also suffers from early dementia. I cooked for her, cleaned, bathed, toileted, ran errands, filled, maintained and administered her large variety of prescription meds., scheduled and drove her to doctor appointments, provided companionship and comic relief. It was during this time I realized I have an enormous amount of patience when it comes to caring for seniors. I enjoyed my time caring for my grandmother so much, decided to continue doing so when I came home to San Antonio.
